I don't want to post in this member's post but for this post I say yes they were preferred but nothing is preplanned in tv industry, they go with flow of trps. Even iconic show like friends didn't plan mondler but people loved them together so they made mon and Chandler together. So......we must hope and wish adilie are loved by people and they bring trps so much so that cvs sr scene bhi dikha den.😂

Okay everyone please do not hate me for saying this but all three are victims here. Aditya, Maline and Imlie.

Destiny has twisted them in a web where all have lead by there teachings and there values of relationships. Why do we always focus on blaming Aditya alone. Are we all really saying that one day someone makes you marry a stranger and the next day we will be okay with the hand faith has dealt us. Sorry to say but no. We all cannot be that wise or strong we have so many demons and fears. We shall fight, cry and even run away from it .

Aditya had his reasons his fears and even acted the way he did because of these. The hand of life has neither been fair to him or the woman. We forget he had his wishes his dreams and desires as much as these woman.

Like Imlie he whom has seen life couldn’t escape the twist of faith dealt to him. He managed to safe and life and at the end when he wanted to right he had to restore another too. You see he was not only looking out for the woman but his family but have the cvs ever really shown us what he feels. Does he not feel trapped, betrayed or far worse let down. He is allowed to be angery and at the same time be remorseful. We see he is learning about his emotions and decisions. There is so much more we are learn of him.

Making promises is easy but to follow through on these is hard. He fulfilled these with Maline but never promised Imlie any of it. He has never lied to her when it came to there forced marriage. The beauty however has been where Imlie has been able to show him the other side of companionship which he never knew he craved. A glimpse of this has been shown to us last week.

Furthermore how Aditya deals with these will lead us to the story disclosure of Dev whom is in the same boat. The test will be how will be deal with the reality of his daughters being married to the same man and how will he correct one wrong to make another right. The path is sticky and with it we will learn how they will lead with there hearts, minds and social norms.

Walking away is easy but embracing is far more complicated and courageous. The courage will come and it will be a battle of blood to the very end.

This show never promised to be a cliche romance as it’s aid love is not full of roses it comes with thorns that wither with time or bloom to something we wish if only we fight for it. They can believe that walking in life with once mind is easy but all three are learning that feelings can never be really held back within.

Maline will be have to deal with a man whom dealt her a faith like her father had done before her. It will be seen how she deals with the issue of having a sister and a husband whom is bound as much to her as he is to the other. The test of trust is to be seen if she will behave as he mother or will decide by what she has known of the man she has been with for 7 years.

Imlie will be having to cope with the same but at the same time wi have to ponder how she embrace these new relationships and the realisation that she has been dealt her mother hand. She always said she would not become her mother. Where does that leave her? To love or be bound by duty.

Then there is Aditya a man whom will be learning to either embrace duty or love and which ever path he takes he will have to prick through the thorns to show how he can correct these. He will not only lose himself but also what he has worked so hard to achieve so far. His voice has always been his words but in the future he will have to learn that sometimes the truth can be far more bitter then one can handle.

So no I cannot agree that he alone is at fault of it all for life is not black and white. Society and its norms and once fears lead us on paths we never really see till it’s to late to correct. For Imlie could have fought back too.

For me they all will always be the victims some will gain and others shall lose. So let’s see how and what shall be lost.

LOL you seem to have totally misread the whole intent of this post and the debate around Adi.

Criticizing someone for making mistakes doesn't mean that everyone else is blameless. All three have made their share of mistakes but Adi made the biggest in my eyes by choosing to commit bigamy.....he knowingly married Malini even after having done rituals with Imlie and not dissolving those. Simply presuming that those rituals don't mean anything doesn't change the truth....imagining your own truth doesn't absolve you of responsibility....Adi buried his head in the sand to run from his problems so his mistake is bigger there.....and that is what he will have to pay for in the long run.

Doesn't mean others haven't made mistakes....but I don't get why pointing out Adi's huge mistake is such a crime here *shrugs*.

Sorry that was not my intent to say that there is no crime or there are no mistakes. All the point I was making was that he has his faults and with it he shall realise these. What I find hard is that everyone is saying he should see what is right in front for him but from what we have learnt of him so far he can never really put two and two together. He knows he had committed a mistake and yet his inner fear doesn’t let him deal with this resolve. Fear is a big factor why one starts to walk on lies.

You have said it well he has buried his head in the sand but then I find it once again that this is due to the expectations everyone has off him and he himself. My intent was to say that the whole matter is never black and white we will all see what we want to see and not the later. I should have put it better.

Yes the truth cannot be hidden nor can it be run from and this is what we are yet to see how he deals with this reality itself. Will be his punishment and his alone.

At the beginning, when they were forcefully married, both Adi and Imlie were victims.

Then they left Pagdandya and got to a place where they were safe, and there was no threat to their lives. After coming to this safe place, Adi calls the forceful marriage, an illegal marriage. He is a successful and experienced journalist, so he should be knowing that even though it is an illegal marriage, it is still a marriage. He should be approaching a court and getting the marriage annulled. When he is not doing that, in the eyes of law, he becomes a silent/willing participant. When he is not legally challenging the validity of the marriage and dissolve the marriage, then legally speaking, it would mean he has accepted the marriage just like Imlie, especially when he took the wife to his own house. But still he is a victim just like Imlie.

Adi did try telling Malini the truth but she ended up fainting. So, he lies to her to keep her safe. Malini without even questioning him on playing such a cruel prank on her or investigate why he would just makeup a story like that, simply accepts what he was saying, effectively turning a blind eye to the truth. That time, she was a fool and stupid, but still a victim. Imlie also a victim. Adi a victim of circumstance.

Instead of waiting and finding the appropriate time to confess to Malini and dissolve his first marriage, he decided to marry Malini without disclosing about his first marriage, he stopped being a victim and has become a criminal. He has in full conscious married another woman while already married to someone else. Even if he tried telling Malini the truth, he ended up misleading her in the end and married her by hiding his marriage. (Even if Malini knew the truth, then also Adi would be a bigamist and his marriage to Malini invalid.) And here, to an extent, however helpless she was, legally speaking, Imlie becomes his partner in crime as she in her full conscious had hid the fact that Adi was married to her and had let Adi get married to Malini. Here the only victim is Malini.

If things go to the court in the real world, and both Imlie and Malini gets good lawyers to fight for the validity of their marriage, then also, Imlie would be the real wife whose marriage the court could annul if that is what Adi and Imlie want. All because Adi wasn’t smart enough to file a case against the villagers and dissolve the forced marriage. Even if his marriage to Malini had thousands of witnesses, his marriage to Imlie also had witnesses and main being the village head.

While Malini’s wedding would be declared invalid. And Adi would be punished for bigamy and fraud.

Though everyone started of as (legally) victims,

Adi because of his stupidity, stubborn nature , misguided and shortsightedness, is no longer a victim. he is a criminal - bigamist, fraud and adulterer(if Adi-Malini have consummated)

Imlie even though helpless, she is in a way both a victim and partner in crime because she could have informed Malini about their marriage and stopped the fraud from happening.

Malini so far, even though is stupid and plain dumb, is still a victim.

Very well explained 👏.....you have logically explained the entire progression of events.

I ofcourse am rooting for Adi-Imlie as well and I enjoy the layering/nuance in their relationship despite all the complications.....but I'm clear-eyed enough to see the point at which Adi lost the moral high ground....which as you rightly said was the moment he knowingly married Malini without dissolving his marriage with Imlie. He can give a zillion excuses that he tried telling Malini before but it didn't work out etc. etc....but end of the day, the fact on the ground is that he committed bigamy, period.

So yes, I do expect he will face some legal issues with this in the future....my money is fully on Mrs. C getting him thrown in jail for bigamy😆.

Adi-Malini have obviously consummated their marriage😆....so that's another layer to this mess that Adi has created because he didn't dissolve his marriage with Imlie before proceeding to think only his marriage with Malini is valid....lol.....which is why in some ways we all joke that this guy doesn't even know isko kis level ka Karma face karna padega despite the fact that fundamentally he is a good guy with good intentions.....but he has failaaoed too much raita in trying to run away from facing the truth of his marriage to Imlie.
