Irene is 'The Woman' because she is the only one who managed to grab Sherlock's attention, she is beautiful with striking features and cunning in nature... also she is damn intelligent...

In Irene's word she is the only woman who beat Sherlock also she is the creator of the password I AM SHER-LOCKED

Apart from Sherlock and John she's my most fav character in the book as well as the series
