Hey Everyone! I am back with another update. Enjoy.

Part 8

As Riddhima and Vansh told the family how they met, everyone wanted to know more. They were all intrigued to know how these two strong-headed personalities came together. Sia was the most excited. It seemed like an epic love story to her, not to forget their chemistry. “So how did you two start dating? Did you propose?” Sia asked excitingly.

Vansh chuckled remembering how they started dating and Riddhima was smiling at the memory.

Vansh stopped beating the guy when his eyes met with Riddhima’s. He just stood there looking at her when suddenly she started clapping, breaking the silence in the court. Riddhima moved a little forward, continuing to clap and stopped before him.

Vansh didn’t expect that reaction from her. He saw her smiling slightly before saying, “Wow! That was amazing. You have quite the strength and skills.” This made Vansh smile and say, “Thank you!”

“But why were you beating that guy anyway?” asked Riddhima which changed Vansh's smiley expression to a hard expression. He remembered how this guy proposed Riddhima in front of everyone. He wanted to break his bones right there but calmed himself when Riddhima said no.

He was still standing in the corner after everyone left and heard that guy saying to his friends that he is going to corner Riddhima and make her his. Vansh saw red at that moment and wanted to kill this guy for thinking to hurt his Riddhima. He followed the guy to the basketball court and that’s how the fight started.

“He was planning to corner you and make you his and take revenge for your rejection,” Vansh said gritting his teeth. As soon as Vansh said that, Riddhima fisted her hands and kicked that guy hard in his stomach making blood come out of his mouth.

Keeping her foot on the injured chest and pressing it, she said, “When I say no, one should take it as a no and back the hell off. But you planned to hurt me, behind my back. And look where you landed, bloodied and withering in pain. Remember this the next time you decide to go after someone who says no to you.” Giving him a final kick, she moved away from him.

Vansh smiled seeing how she fights everything that dares to go against her. Perfect! He thought. He saw her coming in front of him again and ask, “Do you like me?” He was startled to hear her question? What kind of question is this? Nevertheless, he answered, “Yes.”

She nodded at him and said, “Good. I like you too.” Vansh felt a wave of relief and a jolt of happiness passing through his body. He was actually worried that she might not like him, especially like the beast she saw him being a while ago.

“It’s clear that you're interested in dating me.” Vansh widened his eyes hearing her. How did she know?

Seeing Vansh get surprised, she smiled and said, “No one goes out of their way to beat someone to the death for a girl, especially that guy who is known for not giving any attention to the girls, even when they are throwing themselves on him.” Vansh nodded at her with a slight blush on his cheeks.

Riddhima went aww seeing the tough guy blushing at what she said and grinned wide. “They just throw themselves on me because of my looks and money,” said Vansh. “Well, that’s how the world is sweetheart. People run behind you as long as you have power and money.” Riddhima spoke what she thought.

“You are the sweetheart,” Vansh mumbled but Riddhima heard him. Smirking at him, she said, “I am anything but a sweetheart. I am good to those who are good to me but a bitch to those who disrespect me. You just saw an example of that.”

Vansh shook his head and said, “For me, you are a sweetheart and that’s all that matters.” This made her smile and without thinking anymore she said, “Let’s date!”

“What?” Vansh was shocked to hear her say that so bluntly. He was planning to ask her out in a nice way. He never thought she would ask him on a date before him.

“What’s there to be shocked? We both are interested in each other, so we should date. I am not the one to beat around the bush.” Vansh could just nod at her still shocked. Damn! She is definitely different. The voice in his head said and Vansh couldn’t agree more.

“Let’s go,” said Riddhima grabbing his hand. Vansh was just looking at their hands and let himself be pulled to wherever she was going. “Move,” Riddhima told the students who were shocked at what happened. The guys and girls who were interested in Riddhima and Vansh just shook their heads disappointedly and let them pass through.

Sia and Angre broke into laughter hearing them. Even Ishani couldn’t control her laughter. They couldn’t believe Vansh being flabbergasted because the girl he was interested in directly asked him out on a date. The person who always shuts other people's mouths was shut by the girl he likes.

“You are too good bhabhi. You directly asked him out, no not asked, ordered him to go on a date.” Sia said after sobering up from her laugh. “Yeah, I can’t imagine how the boss would have looked like that moment,” Angre added.

“Well, your brother was slow. He said he liked me from the first day I joined and he didn’t even approach me for a week. He would have taken longer if I hadn’t asked him. He didn’t seem like he knows how to go for it.”

Riddhima giggled looking at Vansh’s face which turned slightly red. “It’s ok, baby. Main hoon na. If you don’t know to go for something, I will always be there to guide you,” said Riddhima, pulling his cheeks.

“And then what happened?” This time Ishani asked. Even she was curious to know about her Bhai’s love life which she never knew existed.

“Then what. We started dating and we were together for most of the time until my graduation.” Vansh went back to his memory line.

It’s been a year since they started dating. They didn’t confess their love for each other officially because they knew they loved each other. They spent most of their time together studying, playing, or going on dates. The whole college called them ‘power couple’.

People could see their chemistry, passion, love from a mile away. They both are such strong-headed personalities that people would scurry away when they see them. It was a week before graduation so the college was busy preparing.

Riddhima and Vansh were silently walking on the campus intertwining their hands. Riddhima was enjoying the weather and Vansh was lost in his thoughts. He was thinking about his graduation and afterward. This was the best year of my life. I now have a person who loves me unconditionally. It was so easy to spend most of my time with her because we are studying in the same college. But now I will be graduating and take over the company. How will I manage everything? I will be busy in the company and Riddhima will be busy in her studies. We will not be able to spend as much time together. How would I live with that?

They walked towards their car and Riddhima was about to get in when she felt Vansh still standing there. She looked back at him only to find him upset. “What’s wrong?” she asked, holding his hand. Vansh pulled her closer by her waist and rested his forehead on hers.

“I will graduate and leave this college soon. And then I will take over the company completely.” Riddhima nodded though she was confused why is he saying it right now. “That’s great right? You will lead your company to great heights of success,” said Riddhima.

“Yeah, but I will be really busy handling the company and you will be busy studying. And you are also planning to start your company so you will be double busy. We will not be able to spend a lot of time together.” Vansh voiced out his thoughts.

Riddhima understood why he was upset. Cupping his face, she said, “Don’t worry. We will never be too busy for each other. I know I am your priority and you are mine. We will find a way. For now, stop stressing and enjoy the moments. We have an empire to build.”

Vansh felt better hearing her and nodded at her. He was amazed at how easily she is able to make him feel better. “Now can I get a smile?” Riddhima asked him cutely which made Vansh break into a big smile. Riddhima smiled back at him before pulling him into a kiss.

Vansh was startled but reciprocated with equal passion. She wrapped her hands around his neck and pulled him down while Vansh tightened his hands on her waist pulling her body closer. They both were fighting for dominance until Riddhima won as she tugged on his hair making Vansh moan. They pulled away after sometime panting for breath. Riddhima gave him a peck on his lips and said, “Let’s go,” and they got into the car.

They reached Riddhima’s apartment after half an hour. She saw Vansh who was looking sad because he didn’t want to leave her yet. He was still holding her hand since the time he was driving. Riddhima wanted to cheer him up so she said, “Stay with me tonight.”

Vansh’s face brightened hearing her and he nodded quickly as if he was waiting for her to say that. He called Dadi and told her that he is not going to come home tonight. They went to her apartment after he parked the car.

This is it for today. It's longer than usual. I hope you liked this part.

Vansh is not really shy but Riddhima is bolder than him. It's just Vansh was not used to it. This is the first time he ever liked someone and that person asked him out.

Part 9

Dadi smiled seeing her grandson smiling and happy every time he looks at Riddhima. He looks at her like she is the only thing existing in the world and nothing amazes him more than her. He gazes at her with all the love and adoration in his eyes.

She felt happy seeing the whole family together, sitting around each other as they listened to their cold arrogant Vansh’s college love story. Though she is happy that her grandson finally found his Humsafar, she is still confused why they married without telling anyone. Vansh was not the one to hide his actions. So she voiced her question.

“Vansh, when did you two marry and why did you get married without telling anyone?”

Vansh sighed hearing his Dadi’s question. She always wanted him to settle down with a partner who loves him and always dreamt about his wedding. He knew she was hurt that he didn’t tell her about the biggest day of his life. He felt Riddhima squeezing his hand and closed his eyes with her assurance.

“It happened after I proposed Riddhima.” He was about to continue but got cut off by a loud voice. “What? You proposed to her! How did you do it? Tell me, tell me.” Sia was bouncing on her seat excitedly, well as much as she could.

Now it was Riddhima’s turn to blush. Vansh smirked seeing his lioness go into the shy mode. It was one of the most memorable days of their lives.

It was Riddhima’s last year in college. Her graduation was a few weeks away and Riddhima couldn’t wait to get done with it. She wants to put full attention to her business which has risen so much in such a short time. But Vansh was thinking about something else. He wanted to make their relationship official.

None of them cared about stupid social validation because they were happy with each other and that’s all that matters. But Vansh wanted to make sure no one can ever question their relationship. He was going to propose to her soon. He has been planning for it for a while but both of them have been so busy that he didn’t get a chance. He found out that Riddhima’s classes would end early today, so he decided to propose to her today.

Riddhima sighed as she reached her apartment. She was glad that it was a half-day at college because she couldn’t pay attention to any of her classes. She was upset as Vansh didn’t test or call her at all since morning. Usually, he calls her at least three times a day but not a single call today. She even called him to check if he is fine but he just cut the call saying he was busy and will talk to her later.

Stupid jerk. She decided to take a long shower to calm her nerves. Lighting up some aromatic candles, playing soft music, she entered the bathtub and immediately felt relaxed.

After her long shower, she stepped out of the bathroom wearing her lavender bathrobe. She looked at the time and was shocked to see it was already 4 pm. She widened her eyes realizing she spent more than 1 hour in the bathroom. She moved towards her bed to take the phone and frowned seeing no texts or calls from Vansh.

She threw her phone on the bed in frustration and was about to leave when her eyes fell on a package on her bed that she didn’t notice before. Curiously she opened the package only to find beautiful red roses on top of a beautiful one-shoulder red wine dress.

It had a thick material inside layered with chiffon fabric and crystal stones studded on it from the neckline to the waist. The dress flowed from the waist and had a slit at mid-thigh. She was awed looking at this stunning dress. There were matching diamond earrings and a pair of red heels on the box too. Putting down the dress, she picked up the letter that fell from the dress.

“Wear this dress and be ready by 6:30. I will send a driver to pick you up.

- Vansh”

Typical Vansh, Riddhima huffed. Couldn’t he write some nice words along with sending such a beautiful dress? What is he planning to do anyway? Riddhima looked at the time and saw it was almost 4:30. She started getting ready thinking about all the possibilities.

After she was done getting ready, she saw it was 6:15 and started waiting for the driver to arrive. She thought of calling Vansh and left the idea thinking of how he cut the call without listening to her. Soon the driver arrived and she left her apartment after wearing her heels and taking her purse.

As soon as she reached the car, the driver blindfolded her eyes and said it was Vansh’s instructions. Riddhima was getting more and more confused but went along with it. After what felt like hours, the car finally stopped. The driver helped her come out of the car and opened the blindfold.

Riddhima opened her eyes to see herself standing in front of some kind of forest. The sky was almost dark bringing in the night. She looked towards the river hoping to get some clue about this place and he just told her to walk on the little path that could be seen from the road.

She reached the pathway and started walking slowly observing the trees around her. With each step she took, two lanterns on each side of the path lighted up. She felt happy seeing it and was excited to see what Vansh has planned.

After a few minutes, she heard the sound of water running as if there was a waterfall nearby. She moved forward towards the sound and saw a place that had fewer amount of trees giving space to that place and she could see a waterfall a little far from a tent that had been placed there.

As soon she went into that empty place, the whole place lighted up. Riddhima was stunned by what she was seeing. There were fairy light strings and beautiful light bulbs hanging from the trees. There were flowers and small lanterns spread on the ground. She got excited seeing some jars with fireflies around because she loved them.

Then her eyes fell on the man standing a little far. He was wearing a black tux with a white shirt underneath which had the first two buttons open. Riddhima’s heart skipped a beat looking at her man, her Vansh looking so handsome.

Vansh was standing so nervous and excited for tonight. The driver had called him a few minutes ago informing him of her arrival. He just hopes that she likes his arrangement. He wanted to make her feel the most special and beautiful which she is to him. He chose this place knowing her love for nature and water.

He felt her steps and pressed the button which lightened up the whole place. He was stunned and speechless looking at her. She was looking so gorgeous and hot and sexy in that red dress of hers. He gulped knowing it’s going to be a very long night for him.

Riddhima walked towards him and wrapped her arms around him. She was feeling overwhelmed with all these arrangements. She felt Vansh tightening his grip around her as he pulled her closer. Both of them stayed like that for a while, feeling each other until Vansh pulled away.

He was looking at her intensely, taking in every bit of her features into his memory. Tucking a strand of her hair, he said, “You are looking absolutely gorgeous and ethereal.” Riddhima blushed hearing his compliment. He didn’t need to express it in words, she knew she was looking stunning when she saw him speechless.

“Vansh, what is all this for?” Riddhima asked as she looked around. “I wanted to make this date really special. So I did all these myself. Did you like it?” Vansh asked nervously. Riddhima was shocked to know that he did everything. Her eyes glistened with tears as she felt his love through this. Only he can make her feel this special.

“I love it. It’s so beautiful like I am in some kind of fairy place. I feel so special, blessed, and overwhelmed.” Vansh took a sigh of relief and gave her a wide smile showing his dimples.

“But what is the occasion? It’s not my birthday nor our anniversary. Anything I should know?” Riddhima asked, raising her left eyebrow. “Tonight is very special for us. So I had to arrange things in a special way.”

Vansh took a deep breath and went down on his knee in front of her. Riddhima left a loud gasp as she saw him on his knee. Shocked would be an understatement for her. He never went down on his knee except for his mother who passed away.

Taking both her hands in his, Vansh started. “Well, it must be clear to you that I am proposing to you. I decided to propose to you before you decide to go for it like you did when you asked me out. Riddhima, I am not great at romantic speeches, I have never done that. But I want to tell you that every moment of life has been beautiful ever since you stepped into it, even our fights and arguments. You gave a better meaning to my life. You accepted me with all my flaws and imperfections and yet you look at me like I am the most perfect and best person you have ever met in your life.

You are such a beautiful, kind-hearted, and strong person that I have been obsessed with you since I have seen you. Then I fell in love with you. I love you so much that I can never express through my words. I want to spend every single moment with you. You are the only person I can bow down to wholeheartedly. So Riddhima Shetty, will you be my queen forever? Will you marry me?”

Riddhima was smiling tearfully throughout the whole time and went down on her knee when he finished and hugged him tightly. She never thought Vansh would propose to her in such a beautiful way. She cupped his face after breaking the hug and said,

“First of all, I never want you to bow down in front of me. I want to see you standing tall with your head up high. And if I accepted you with your flaws and imperfections then you also did the same. And you are the best person I have ever met with whom I fell in love with madly and deeply. So yes Vansh Rai Singhania, I would marry you and have you beside me as my king forever.”

Vansh beamed in happiness and pulled out a ring from his pocket. It was a beautiful princess cut diamond ring with a platinum band. There were small diamond stones studded on the band. He took her left hand in his and slid the ring in her finger.

Riddhima would never forget the feeling. They were officially together. He was her finance and she was his fiancee. They looked at each other with love and happiness leaning towards each other and finally smashed their lips together. It was a soft passionate kiss with both of them trying to express their emotions.

Pulling away from the kiss, they put their forehead against each other and started giggling in happiness. “Dance with me,” Vansh said, putting forward his hand. “Here? Without music?” Riddhima asked, confused. Vansh pulled out his phone and played the Jeena Jeena song.

Keeping Riddhima’s one hand on his shoulder and another one on his chest, He put his both hands around her waist pulling her closer to him and started dancing to the song. The song was expressing their feelings to which they were just swaying and enjoying each other’s presence.
