Used to be a complete introvert both in the real life and online until I came to a new country friendless and lonely.
Coming here and spending quarantine made me appreciate my online friends to a level never before level. And slowly by attending gathering and meetup, I found new friends with whom I socialise and have a lot of fun with. Life for me has never been so lit and happening. Both online and offline 🤣. I guess I owe it to whatever loneliness I’ve been through during the pandemic in a new country, and most especially quarantine life.
Having said that some of the experiences were not that nice. Being name called, bullied, whilst maintaining a sweet disposition and innocence in front and stabbing me at the back, and then blaming other people whilst not admitting to their own mistakes.
I reckon it makes me more appreciative to those who stand by me, and to appreciate myself to meet up with people who appreciate me. With whom I can talk freely without rendering unfair judgement.
