Also... this is why few yrs ago I'd stopped watching serials altogether: I get attached to the actors/characters/couples and inevitably the show ends exactly at that point or comes close to it due to trp issues, and then for weeks I'm left wondering what to do now with the amount of time I used to spend watching said show, reading its FF, interacting with fellow fans on some forum/SM.

But 2 yrs ago I went to France to visit my cousins and aunt and the latter was a bug fan of Raabta, so I started watching it as well and found it interesting and unique, so much so that I downloaded the Z app to keep up with it.

Cause launching a new show is expensive so they wanna save their shows. But, unfortunately, none are even breaking 1.2 TRPs in the prime time slots.

Ikr that's so painful...

I stopped watching indian tv shows because of this terrible monopoly....the last show I watched was literally in my teens 😂😂

But then I began watching THR because of my cousin and then got hooked on it 🙈🙈🙈 honestly this show is afloat only because of the actors...that's it not just sehreem but everyone Poorva, shagun, sneha and Rajat...they played the role of actor and pr managers in this show...

What a shame, the ph turned out to be so cunning...used thr to bring out their other shows and in turn neglected their bread winner

Took that stupid zee5 premium membership, just for Raabta..zee tv can go to hell for all the bias 🙄

It is the actors themselves who promote the show and stories and to them we owe the fact that Raabta is still on air and only to them.

And dunno whether the PH does anything to promote Raabta, but I doubt it.

Just a little bit better stories and some promotion would do wonders for Raabta.

If they're not finding ideas, just visit forums and places where fans write their fanfics and they have a 10000X better stories than most of what the writers have given us since the Ketki track.

Issue is that new show is in the 6pm timeslot. That means in terms of TRPs and profitability, it's limited. That's why some producers won't take those timeslots unless they wanna do a show without TRP pressure.

So they need THR now, that's why they are accepting channel demands and are constantly changing tracks for TRPs.

Unka yeh pehla show hain which has picked up so well...uske baad uthna negligence towards it just for QH was unfair...

Ulta pachka hi huwa unka yeh karne ke baad 😅😅 cuz that show bombed

I hope they really do something to get better
