Shaayad aaj hum yehi sunna chahte the

An episode with some progress today I felt.....

Imlie is starting to get more obvious pangs about her complicated feelings and the development of expectations from Adi.....her realizing for the first time why she's feeling alone even with the rest of the family fussing over her....because she wanted Adi with her when she was in pain....it pinches her that he is unaffected by her pain. LOL poor Imlie....little does she know😆.

I actually enjoyed most of the epi cuz Imlie/Sumbul was just too cute today😆....Imlie was bored sitting around the house and looking for ways to get out of the house and feel some sense of freedom😆.....and she finally managed to venture out and experience some non-Malini DIDI related scenes.....hallelujah.

LOL hilarious that for the first time some people called IMLIE didi for a change🤣....bechaari ko sab bacchi bolte rehte hain, aaj pehli baar kuch logon ne Imlie ki authority feel ki when she went into full social justice crusader mode and used cricket gyaan to do dhulaayi of random leechads on the road😆.

This scene, then the one before this when Imlie oh so proudly uses her 'hide and seek' skills to leave the tiffin for Adi secretly, then later on when Adi shows up to clap for her the way she sorted out those guys😆......all of these scenes worked to a large extent cuz of Sumbul's screen presence IMO....she is just such a joy to watch onscreen.....after many days, she got some scenes outside of Tripathi house on her own mettle and I really enjoyed watching her like this.......and I also want to make a mention of the scene when Imlie tells Adi that she draws inspiration from him to fight injustice....which in turn provides him with inspiration to continue pursuing the bridge story.....a very subtle/simple convo/moment between Adi-Imlie totally elevated by GM-ST ki acting.....to me, it's what they bring with their acting to these two characters in the simplest of moments that holds your attention as a viewer.

Anyways, looks like the the underworld track is going to pick up some steam now and lead to some form of dramatic events this week.....this is moving in parallel to a build up of Imlie feeling pangs as she hears everyone talking about how there is no better "saathi" for Adi than Malini😆......lol the irony of people making all these declarations just as Adi-Malini's relationship is being revealed to be more hollow than ever to the viewers.

But chalo, our Imliya is also busy studying for her entrance exams....hopefully it leads to something good for her😆

Now I do feel the precap is an abstract representation of all the elements that will collide this week.....Imlie with the chaaku and Adi banging on her door is a metaphor for danger of some sort bringing them together and then Malini watching from the side as usual.....lol let's see what the actual scenes end up looking like.

Also one of those rare heartfelt smiles from Adi towards Imlie again.....lol

I was mainly struck today by the fact that everyone was busy talking about what a perfect wife Malini is to Adi, how there can be no better saathi for Adi than Malini, and in actual practice, Imlie was the one fulfilling that role.....as always, she managed to calm a restless Adi in her own way without even deliberately trying. She simply spoke her truth about how she views him and that was enough to relax his mind and give him motivation for a path forward.

So then it's worth wondering....what exactly is companionship? Doing constant cakes/surprises/celebrations to celebrate achievements or actually standing by your partner with emotional/mental strength in their hour of need?

Malini is busy trying to coyly gather praise from her saas in the house while Imlie is actually out in the real world unwittingly managing to provide Adi with motivation towards his work. The contrast is apparent😆.....everyone is busy praising Malini but it is Imlie who somehow seems to be the key to unlocking any lock in Adi's mind/heart.

Iska answer 200 episode ke baad hi milega😆....tab tak open ended rakhenge....jisko jo samajhna hai samajh le😆.....but very convenient that they didn't show Adi taking Malini's name in reference to the bridge incident either time😆....bas "meri wife, meri wife" bol raha tha😆....

Overall lovely episode for the progress we got in the non typical fashion .. first we get an imlie starting to realize she craves for his attention than only adi ka na Hona with her made her the loneliest when she needed him the most awww🤗 And that was the reason for her feeling bad all day.. poor girl... it was a nice parallel I felt to adi seeking her subconsciously when she went to.the Chaturvedis In a way.. she didn't seek him like that yet she longed for him to comfort her in her weak moments awww. 🥺 yeh rishta nahi toh kya hai

I also enjoyed ST getting to do her chulbuli nautanki... she is such a khushiyon ki chaabi when they let her be all the nuances and little things she does in the way she walks sits hops around ek dum unique and pyare antics🤗 it was so good to see her using her brain to runaway and then she managed it well too haha and then she bhanpooed from a mile away ke babusahib is on tawa right now iss waqt dusri strategy lagane padegi..how happy she was after getting that small victory aww

Then came my fav scene after imlie dhoooing those guys it is just so simple but has so much heart right from Imlie thinking ke abhi izzat gayi jo kamayi but adi was in mood to.appreciate today and I loved the way he straight away praised her so calmly told her she was damn right in handling them the way she did and then imlie baton baton main inspired him uski tareef karke usse ek direction de di... so sweetly she told him how he inspires many like her caz he has the power of pen and a voice he changes lives of people and she has great regard for him as a reporter .. and the he replies ever so softly aaj yahi sunana chahte thay...she calmed the toofan that was inside him gave him the clarity his whole body language had changed from the bus stop he was so agitated and then imlie again calmed that storm isse kehte hai saath and being the perfect partner *cough tripathi ladles* who knows how to do the job bina even trying as such.. it is not like imlie knew the reason or she was trying hard she just gave a general statment when he called her inspiration ke woh toh aap ho yet it solved his dilemma his maann ki ghuthhi just like that. gave him the sukoon he was looking for.

I have a bad feeling about adi staking everything and despite the repeated warnings not listening to editor sahib.. this is where I guess he will have to deal.with the consequences of imlie being in danger thanks to his impulsive decision and not using calm strategy.. that is where the chakku comes in rofl

End main again ek tih that was such a cringe nautanki by the bahus mann stop I was focused on imlie studying in the background and then aww at her hearing those things and again feeling hurt caz it is putting things in perspective for her. The family she so calls her have itna sa bhi idea nahi about her actual rishta nor do they care but what she realizes is she does want kind of that affection and respect being related to adi subconsciously and it hurts her when such compliments are showered on malini ...

Me too!I was like dude which wife are you talking about?!😂😂 Don't think he would know the answer .The funniest dialogue by Imlie to Adi “You always stand for the truth” and Adi nodding yes and being all mahan😂

Both of them sense each other’s state of mind without either of them having to explicitly say it out. And therein lies the beauty of their equation. The actors are so good that we do not need flying dupattas to be a part of any frame in order for the strength of that relationship to come across.

Whereas Malini is diametrically opposite. Malini’s need for constant compliments also stems from being a single child in a dysfunctional family I think. With parents busy with their own problems, she probably just got materialistic care a lot more than emotional. There was absolutely no need to question love of Badki Kaki today but she did it at the first opportunity. Her need for reassurance is constant and from everyone.

What was that Nishant’s surprise all about? Hoping not another party. I’m beyond tired of their parties jinme AC tapak jaathi hai, Imlie ko insult karti hai aur nikal leti hai.

Just love the calmness that this scene evoked bihat sukoon wali feeling just looking the caps too I love the way they set it up on the street that just added so much serenity just like it was meant to be for adi... the internal turmoil of what should he do next him eager to go ahead and expose and his boss stopping him that dilemma was sorted so simply just by a simple use your power ❤️ and ofcourse I love that she was totally unaware ke isko kuch oafwshan kar esha hai and kya except that she saw him angry at the bus stop and took it as the normal saddu adi being pissed casually 🤣 I love the in the moment ho gaya feel of it
