Episode 97 first part

Jasmeet is so desperate to win Sangeet competition against Nidhi that she brings Mishti to where Kuhu is sitting and tells them to keep their fights aside as they have to win the war. She asks both if they prepared anything special for the dance face off. MishKu both make sullen faces and deny. Jas panics, then gasps as lights go off. Nidhi with mic announced not to be alarmed as dance will start and RJVs are fully prepared whether Mahs are ready or not. Jas tells her to go ahead and they’re not afraid.

Abir playing guitar and Kunal sings Salam e Ishq. He goes to Kuhu’s table and apologizes by holding ears, Kuhu is thrilled

Abir signals Mishti at the words salame ishq, Mishti is looking really pretty, ❤️

Kunal diverts Abir from Mishti at once. Then kunal himself brings Mishti to the dance floor holding her hands (following mom’s advice to act friendly to the enemy) Abir looks so thrilled at Kunal’s friendly gesture towards Mishti, poor guy has no idea.
Ketu brings Kuhu to dance floor and KuKu dance together with all others dancing around them. Dance ends.

Jas is fuming, Nidhi taunts her, has she given up already or should they show some more magic? Jas tries to talk to Mishti who says she’s got something to do. Kunal accosted Mishti and asked if she minded what he did? Mishti said not at all, he did that to make Kuhu happy, she’s really lucky! Kunal tells Mishti they’ve had many fights but now he just wants to be happy and make Kuhu happy. Mishti says in all this tension it was KuKu alliance that made her happy.

Abir watched Mishnal talking like a proud mother hen,😆 nanu tells him today Nanko showed he’s grown up! If this magic can happen then Mishti will also do something special tonight. Abir says Mishti won’t do anything.

Meenu tells Kunal he’s doing great, he should keep Mishti busy like this so she can save Abir from Mishti (Meenu looked dumb while repeating this idiocy) 🤪

Koshlu goes onstage and welcomes Kuhu to RJV family. He dedicates next song to their gorgeous (hardly) bahu and also because they won Sangeet competition (already? After just one song?)

Koshlu was going into flashback mode about his and Nidhi wedding but Ketu tells him to come down.

Kuhu thanks Kunal, he apologizes again.

Jugnu starts singing dhol baje intro with dancers onstage. Parul does tika to Kuhu and Kunal while Abir acts goofy. Abir joins Jugnu onstage and sings dholi taro and starts dancing with great gusto. Ketu joins him, everyone enjoys energetic dance with claps. Abir teases Mishti in the lines chhori hai anmol meethey Iske bol aankhein gol gol, Mishti gets nervous. Nidhi joins Abir in dance. All RJVs join and dance together, Atul Koshlu Nidhi Abinal

Jasmeet looks sullen and pouts

Abir looks around for Mishti but can’t see her, Kuhu joins abinal and they dance together.

Meenu gets worried as Mishti can’t be seen around, she tried to leave to find Mishti but Koshlu pulls her to dance, she refuses. She signals Kunal who tried to go to mommy but Atul Abir all pull him back to dance😆. Kunal and Meenu look around worriedly for Mishti

Dance ends, Nidhi taunts jas some more, how did she like their performance? Did they even prepare anything at all or just come unprepared? Meenu comes and chides Nidhi, it’s sangeet, everyone should enjoy it. Nidhi says SHE had lots of fun, looking at jas, Meenu scolds her again, she leaves. Meenu tells jas not to mind nidhi’s words and asked her where is Mishti? She can’t be seen so she’s asking. Jas says how does it matter, Mahs have already been insulted, she leaves sulking. Meenu still obsessing where’s Mishti.

Jas asked Ketu where’s Varsha and Bm? Ketu said they went to the washroom (to change for ghoomar dance I bet) Jas worries what will she do now? Abir asks jas where’s Mishti? Jas says today everyone is asking about Mishti. 😆 Nanu said they’re asking as they want to know what’s their plan now? Jas tells nanu to go ahead and taunt her too as everyone is doing that today. Jas walks off angrily.

This is one nice episode after a series of highly negativity dominated episodes. Specially mishti's grace in that ghoomar song

bolds and underline - meeku ka mishbir obsession continues. Meenu asking Kunal to keep mishti away from abir is getting more n more annoying,as if she is a candy and abir is 5 year old boy who will forget about it if he doesnt see her for sometime

Abir tells nanu he told Mishti won’t do anything special. Lights turn off and Mishti’s voice is heard saying families have different surnames but from inside all are the same. Today both have given love another chance, this dance will leave a lasting impact. Be ready, perhaps someone may confess their feelings today?😳

Meenu looks alarmed. Abir thinks he didn’t know Mishti could do this! Jas jumps up saying Mishti’s surprise!

Intro to ghoomar song with dancers in front, Varsha emerged from the back then later on Bm too, both dance to the song. Music fades, winds start blowing, Abir looks eagerly at the curtains behind from where Mishti emerges, looking like a gorgeous Queen, she dances gracefully pointing at Abir with the lines dedicated to the lover.❤️😍

Abir is thrilled and mesmerized as she danced and expressed her feelings through the lyrics. ❤️😍

Kuhu and Meenu look jealous as hell, mazaa as Gaya😆the two jalkukdis

All Mah ladies dance together, Mishti pulled Jasmeet to the stage, RJVs stand up and applaud them, Nidhi looks upset

Dance ends, Kuhu looks mean and jealous🤢, Kunal asked her if she’s okay? She says she’s used to it, from childhood Mishti has been doing this, before it was birthdays now it’s Sangeet, once more Mishti snatched everyone’s attention on herself. (Yeah because she deserves it you 🤬 )

Kunal assures Kuhu this will all end after the wedding. Kunal holds her hand, Kuhu looks gratified. She gets Mishti’s message to meet her on the balcony, she excused herself from Kunal and leaves

Meenu comes to Kunal in a panic and tells him to go to Abir and not let him meet Mishti at any cost. She just needs one hour (Ek ghante mein kya kar legi yeh?)😕

Kuhu meets Mishti and as usual taunts did she call to give her Sangeet gift? Is Mishti going to jump from the balcony? (How disgusting vicious this girl is, Mishti dying is a gift for her!)🤢

Mishti tells her to be quiet and listen, they hear Jasmeet talking on the phone (to husband Anshuman) complaining that they did garba ghoomar everyone’s wish was kept but nobody listened to jas! She had just asked for a Bhangra or Punjabi song but nobody cares for her here, she feels like an outsider!

(Aah now mystery is solved, Jasmeet herself felt like an outsider in Mah house so she targeted the only other person who didn’t belong there, Mishti! Psychological aspects are quite well explored in this show) 😲

Jasmeet continues there was no rap, no swag, no Bhangra, why did she even come to this sangeet? Jas leaves still complaining to anshuman. Kuhu tells Mishti she hadn’t danced yet, Mishti tells her let’s do one song for the family. Kuhu happily agrees.
They suddenly notice Abir behind a wall , Kuhu asks if he was eavesdropping? Abir says the girls talk so softly he was trying to hear.😆 What were they planning? Mishti says that was their family matter. Abir says their family is now his too. (Yeah we know ) 😳

Kuhu tells him jas chachi was mad at them , because they didn’t do a Punjabi song, on top of that Mishti’s ghoomar took all the attention away. Abir says today nobody should feel bad, let’s do a Punjabi number Mishti says they were also planning that. Abir wants to join, the girls ask why? He said he loves Punjabi songs. Kunal arrives and says him too. Abir is delighted, says the 4 of them together, nothing is better than this! (I disagree, no KuKu required) 👎🏼

They leave, Mishti looks longingly. She didn’t get any alone time with Abir because of Kunal guarding his bhai 😭

Downstairs Mishti whispered something to Varsha who passed it on to Ketu who did the same to rest of RJVs. Bm kept on asking what’s going on but nobody tells her.

Abir says he will tell Bm, he gets up on stage and says he’s going to announce something

Nidhi asks him to tell quickly who’s the winner? Abir says, Today they all won! Jasmeet asks him why he so kind? He can give his family first prize and Mahs last, let’s get it over with! Abir tells her not to be sad or he’ll cry. Jas says why should he cry, nobody cares if she’s sad or mad!

Abir says if nobody cares then what’s this?

Punjabi music starts playing and all RJVs and Mah youngsters including nanu of course in Punjabi get up start dancing.

(Where did they get turbans at such short notice?) 🤪

Abir also joins them in a turban, Mishti swirls around and falls in Abir’s arms, they have a long eyelock. Mishti slips an origami bird into his front pocket and moves away behind the lights, she smiles mischievously at him, and points to his pocket, he stares at her puzzled, then takes out her note and reads it. He looks shocked, happy, confused?

bold 1 - This part was beautiful and I feel they should have had this much before in the show. This should have followed the hospital confrontation scene. Their decision to put mishbir romance on back-seat might have been a buzz kill for live time audience back then.

bold 2 - seriously somebody needed to knock sense into her. if it was not for mishti, she would not even have 2 seconds of whatever light she was getting. 🤓

bold 3 - hmm nice analogy. 👍🏼 but by that logic she should have been more protective towards mishti no? 😔

bold 4 - aww, that's such a sweet gesture by mishti. this girl and her positivity just negates all the negative energy around her 😎

Epi 97 part 1 - Jas brings mishti to kuhu and asks them to patch up So they can win the sangeet. RJVs dance on 'dil kya karein'. Baki kuch ho na ho, their song selection was always really good in this show

Kunal (fake) warms upto mishti and pretends as if he is doing everything for kuhu. And mishti gets happy knowing it makes kuhu happy (dude, did you forget, she trapped you in a freaking email scandal? ) anyway, nanu and abir get happy seeing them talking.

The RJVs move onto next song and dance on 'dholi taro dhol baje'. I havent any other shows taking 'sangit' so seriously and actually playing full length songs

First half of the epi is pretty much dancing only

Epi 97 part 2 - Meenu asks Jas about mishti (she's becoming more and more like mishti's obsessive lover 😆) and nanu and abir ask jas the same question later. She gets irritated and says she doesnt know. Abir says he knew she wouldn't do anything. Just then lights go off and they hear her voice😳

Ghoomar song starts with Varsha dancing and then BM enters. Everyone is cheering them and then enters Mishti! To say she was looking enchanting was understatement! Abir also looks mesmerized at her she dances gracefully on the song ⭐️ and meenu gives expressions as if she got acidity😆

to be honest she should have been overjoyed ki itni acchi ladki abir ki life mein hain but as they say bandar kya jane adrak ka swad😛 anyhow. song ends and everyone praises mishti.

kuhu starts crying (as in metaphorically) and kunal consoles her. mishti texts her and calls her upstairs to hear Jas. (ye mishti kabhi nahi sudhregi. the time when she should be focusing on abir first she is helping these ppl ) They eventually dance on a panjabi song.

Mishti keeps an orgami bird chit in abir's pocket. and shyly goes away from him. He opens and reads it. Origami birds ka silsila chalu ❤️ and for meekuku, someone should have said 'aaltu jalaltu ayi bala ko taal tu' 🤔 because in next epi, meenu will ruin mishti's planned 'bus confession'

Bold 1- So true! Wonder how live time viewers tolerated all those KuKu Meeku plots even before Mishbir could confess, I’m finding it unbearable to watch those three plotting against Mishti and trying to stop her from meeting Abir! I’m dreading next episode, hated how Mishti went to such great lengths to do a beautiful love confession to Abir but that 🤬 Meenu heard it instead! Then blackmailed her😡

This is why I enjoyed the Mumbai track and baba track the most as Mishbir got to romance freely and Meenu was getting punished.

Bold 2- Kuhu’s obsession with limelight will never end, she’s a damn narcissist! I bet she won’t stop taunting Mishti even after Amish birth, she tried to b***h with Mishti again in one of the last episodes but didn’t succeed.
Bold 3- Jasmeet is too vile and mean to empathize with Mishti. Such people always target the vulnerable ones, kids without parental support are easiest targets.
I bet Anshuman wasn’t staying with Jasmeet because of her vile nature

Bold 4- That’s supposed to be the message, that good people remain positive in the face of worst calamities and negativity and they find happiness in the end. But these shows normalize verbal abuse, emotional torture and criminals getting away without punishment, in the name of family unity. 🤢

Jas is so awful, just to win against Nidhi she was buttering Mishti, didn’t once call her mooh boli and wanted MishKu to patch up.

Mishti is too saintly, helping Jasmeet get happy, being happy for Kuhu even after her email hacking 😡

Nach baliye performances were the highlight of this show, RJVs just needed an excuse to start dancing. Probably they were all so depressed under Meenu’s control that they needed dance as a release. 😆

They didn’t do Ghoomar song full length and only showed a small part of Mishti dancing 😡

Mishti trying to make jas happy was too overdone. Jas didn’t deserve Mishti’s kindness, none of them did!

Mishti did focus on Abir and planned/initiated love confession but what did Abir do? He didn’t even turn up! He prioritized Nanko as always
