Alia was pretty good in the teaser, she seems to have put it alot of hard work . Yes, a much older actress would have been better , lets see, hope the movie is good too! Overall, she seems to be getting decent reviews for the teaser.

because the role does require a young actress as gangubai was very young when she rose to power

The role might need a young actor ..but it needs to be a young actor who can look intimidating/ sassy and vulnerable...

Something bhumi in bulbul did quite well actually ...despite being super young she didn’t look out of place as thakurain

I do agree PC would have done a far better job but alia was pretty good too 😲 I am kinda shocked ..

also her dialogue delivery was better than I imagined

Alia has worked hard and has done a fair job. But the role requires someone whose face can be serious and menacing. Alia's face is babyish and her body type too. An actress who was perhaps a bit older and finer would have done a great job.

If someone similar then Aditi Rao Hydari would have been better.

Alia put a lot of efforts and I appreciate it. But this does not suit her. Some older actress would have been better.

Alia looks so small and petite that it takes away from the character and the film. It reminds me of Shraddha stuffing her mouth to look older and trying to change her body language to look fierce.

The film obviously required someone who looks fierce and can deliver intense dialogues. Alia falls short.

I agree, and it's evident Alia has worked hard here especially on her dialogue delivery etc but she simply doesn't have the kind of commanding presence required to sell this character.

Its good. Seems Alia did a good job. I just have a problem with her baby face.
