At least QH 2.0 is intended as an OTT show and I presume has fewer episodes/a bigger budget to allow for that platform. If you just shift a daily soap onto OTT and keep the same low budget/working conditions etc., you're not exactly going to see more profit out of it, right? Even for N5, it was a biweekly show so could have worked in the online space but would have depended on how much more money EK would have been willing to shell out to keep the VFX going etc. Can't see how deadwa's gonna be able to sustain itself for long on OTT.

Yeah Silsila lasted a few months as digital-only, I think. Berang has Kanneda and that Bawra Dil show both coming up, right? One to replace BB, and one to replace deadwa? For a channel that somehow manages to get excellent actors and popular jodis gracing its screens, it sure does know how to f* it up

I agree - Voot is fairly rubbish at the best of times...and I don't think its viewership is as strong as Hotstar's (definitely isn't, given Anupama e.g. gets online TRPs in the high 40s each week). Plus anyone outside of India would have to watch using VPNs, which who knows how many people use, or they'd have to rely on illegal livestreams on YT or elsewhere. So yeah, I tend to think a move from TV to OTT is just a sign that the end is nigh...it's a last-ditch effort usually. I'd have taken it, tbh, but we weren't given that chance (tho IDK if the actors would have agreed...) Doesn't matter much to me either way since I watch online regardless, but I guess for those used to watching on TV it's a big change.

Anupama is the record breaker and trendsetter both online and offline RS scored with that. It was marketed really well and I remember it was due to start before Covid but they delayed it and started it after. So it’s been on our screens for like 10 months and has stayed number 1. Hope RS doesn’t go looking for an unseen twist with this show 😆 sorry about the Anupama jaap 🤣

Voot has too many issues like it doesn’t stream as it should. Then there is that issue with the music lol jarring to say the least. Also people would need to pay extra to see this show or make memberships. So if not many people do that they will just pull the plug. I think that’s another issue amongst the fans because they are younger etc.

I'll be honest, I don't like immj. Idk why!! The show kinda tried to bring in that mafiaaa vibe but weren't able to and then spoiled everything. I hate everything about helly's ch in it. Also, *whispers* I don't like rrahul's voice. Just too much.. what's the word.

People will like it because of AsYa. And want to see them together. And because it’s all been shot and online nobody will care about figures etc. Also once you start watching you can be like oh might as well watch till the end. It will work I am confident. And guess the fan base the actors and jodi has it will be good. Storyline only allah miya knows.

I think mausiji is focusing on Zee and their bhagya her new shows will be there not sitara. Zee is doing a massive revamp. They need to up their game and thy have nobody but ekta doing it for them.
