Why does this everthing with certain posters always boil down to Hindu vs Muslim here?

You don't like Muslim names? Dont keep your kid's name Muslim.

You don't like Hindu names? Your call- with your child.

But please can you not subject a newborn, someone else's newborn, to your issues and this kind of toxic sh*tfest?

He is just a few hours old, we can do better and give the parents a break.

It's sexist and borderline racist to not acknowledge the mother's side of the baby.

Saif married Hindu and Sikh women, yet named all the kids the Muslim way. He's going to do the same with his fourth kid as well. That's discrimination and an example of superiority complex.

This kind of attitude should not be okay with anyone.

That's for the mother alone to decide- what is okay and what is NOT okay while naming her children. And are we pretending that suddenly Kareena and Amrita are cowering and submissive women for whom Saif the Patriarch lays down the law? Riiiiiiiiight.

Kareena has given countless interviews where she said Saif wanted to change Taimur's name after the backlash but she stuck to her guns because SHE liked it.

Presuming to speak for another woman is hardly feminist - sorry- even if that woman is married to a Khan and it might suit us to automatically think of him as some Islamic tyrant, fact is it is Kareena's choice.

Assuming that just because Kareena is a hindu she wants a hindu name for her child..like did she tell you that? I'm a hindu and my child can be named John or Akhbar or whatever for all i care and its MY decision to make. People really need to stfu.

The fact that this is even a topic of discussion today shows the kind of shambles are country is in.
