I have this wish that they do get separated in the riots and Uday stays back in Lahore and Vashma comes to Amritsar with his family. And when the government finally make decision to unite the families in (I think it was 1949 or 50) correct me if I am wrong

Well if this happens then atleast no one will die and they will unite one day or the another. 100 times better than Vashma living as Uday's widow with their child😭

They did both in storeroom... After exchanging garlands, they said qubool hai to each other.

Why would uday stay back in Lahore?... The only reason can be with the intention of finding vashma... But that would mean he won't be able to join indian hockey team.
