Adi hasn't really experienced it with women I feel relationship ke naam pe he have had only malini jiske liye in her own words he never bought anything on his own. Doesn't seem like he has friends who would guide him.too he is kaam main magan rehne wala banda who is like big deal I bought a red dress as a gift as meri neeyat toh saaf thi.. it comes from his lack of experience with dating /women and duniya daari caz he didn't ever get to see the complexities for him.it was justa red suit that he probably liked but the theme the mauka the time went over his head .. typical guy thing ke badi baat kya ho gayi. Also o think iske liye aur bhi odd iss liye bhi hai ke he was grown around men who themselves seem pretty inexperienced in gifting and what an appropriate gift can be they seem to run away in a different direction from.all that warna who else would give chappals as a valentines gift like tauji gave his wife 😆 shows it runs in the family..

Jhalla was upset ke iska naam nahi lia he took it In a totally different manner ke shayad she got embarrassed in accepting ke he could gift her something or that he had a different neeyag.. again notice it is him who brings that in. *cough* babusahib thi kya aur neeyat aapki🤨 caz jahan se hum dekhe humein toh nahi laga kuch khrab beeyat bas ek bhondhu dikha Jesse appropriate occasion ke hisab se gift dena nahi aata. I really was happy that imlie explained that she'd show his gift with pride to all caz usse nahi hai shak and she has that much gratitude for his thought but not today caz sahi time nahi hai ... she was waise bhi itna naaz se pehni so what agar adi ka naam nahi lia adi ussi main khush ho jao iss time pehni toh sahi unlike prrviously .. that showed her happiness and acceptance toh kya hua agar public main she kept your izzat and her izzat

Neeyat isko khud nahin pata tha ki kya hai exactly....bas chahta tha ki Imlie ke liye kuch kare.....but Imlie ne isko credit nahin diya toh iske paas wohi usual cheezein bachi.....guilt and gussa😆....and wohi daal diya Imlie pe phir se.....but Imliye ne sab shaanti se samjhaa bhi diya and sambhaal bhi liya.....loved that we got to see these mature shades to her today after a while :)

The cheesy dance was something else entirely.... 🤣 sure enough Imli had enough of seeing AdiMoon mooning over each other and spotted Rupi standing forlornly by the side.

The Adi-Malini dance scene definitely had an exaggerated showing-off vibe to it😆.....the fact that they were going so overboard in a family setting gave it a banaavati/artificial feel.....I mean at one point, Adi literally looked like he had PASSED OUT on Malini's shoulder🤣.

As it is, these kind of scenes seem to be put in by the makers specifically to draw a contrast from Adi-Imlie's emotional bonding scenes. It's like on one side, there is a relationship which doesn't have any in your face romantic gestures, everything is understated/nuanced between them and it has emotional intimacy......while on the other hand is a relationship that is literally thrust into our faces to show "romance"😆....but despite so many romantic dance poses, dips and hugs - it still doesn't manage to convey depth😆.

I have to conclude then that it's deliberate.....they want to draw that contrast deliberately only to rip off the facade from this relationship in a big way at some point.

On a different note, I found it amusing that Imlie also kinda looked bored of the dance (even though I guess they were going for sad Imlie wala expression😆) and then the fact that Malini suddenly tripped in the middle of the dance made it seem like destiny intervened to put a stop to the OTT-ness for a bit😆.

When Imli hugged Rupi and it was a tight hug, she was like a mother to her, comforting her and wiping her tears away, when she was hurting inside too, how her choices were not her own. It was a beautiful moment of care and understanding, in that moment, they were simply 2 women bonding. The maid - daughter of the house or the class difference or small town/city girl was not seen at all. It was a catharsis for both, sharing their pain in private. Again have to admire Mithi for raising Imli to be strong and self sufficient.

Rest I am pretty sure nishant will come up with a cover or if not only imlie will find the truth or adi and hides from.rest he does look unsettled in the precap when Malini came I think kaafi kuch usse ek dum hila dia.. who know it might be adi assigning imlie the nish duty.. but whatever on adi imlie and

@bold: Word.....baat bas itni si thi ki Babusahib ko chahiye tha some kind of acceptance ka response from her😆 (obviously he won't admit that's what he wanted :P)....but expectation wohi tha....and then when Sundar got the credit, toh Babusahib ko feel hua REJECTION😆....matlab expectation ke badle rejection mil gaya toh bahut CHUBH gayi baat😆.

Imlie ka koi intent nahin tha to "reject" him....but that is how he perceived it....and yeh bhi maanega nahin ki agar bas ek generic sa gift tha, toh how does it matter if Imlie acknowledges it towards him or not? 😛....Kaun hai Imlie iski jo isko FARAK padna chahiye that she acknowledged it or not? 😆

Aditya is a duffer.....Jo chees seedhi Hoti Hain use samajh mein Nahin aati.....imlie was correct in showing him his error.....she asked Aapko Bura laga and he said a big yes.....when adi asked ki how u feel when someone else takes Ur credit,imlie was sad......poor girl....her poem Malini had taken credit but still not acknowledged to adi......

I hope in bedroom scene Tomo if Malini mistakenly blurts out about the poem adi will repent on his words...though I have less hope on that.....

Imlie's acting took the cake today....how well she understood rupi Ka pain and effortlessly shows her how life is so beautiful and we should learn to love ourselves rather than expecting something from others........if life gives us a reason to lose then it gives thousand reasons to live....

It is definitely more deliberate to show the rishton main contrast but it just enhances the point ke log duniya daari ke liye itna sab kuch naatak put on kar lefe hain and khid hi bubble main rehte hain je hum perfect hain ek ideal duniya hai humari they think ke yeb superficial acts karne se perfection prove hota hai khushiyan dikhayi deti hai but aisa nahi hai it all just emphasizes more on how the base hi faulty hai ke itna exaggerate karne ki zaroorat padti hai to show happiness and satisfaction.. not just adi malinin in general bhi yehi hota hai people seek the stamp of validation more than just living and working on themselves.

Baaki emotional intimacy wala angle toh hai hi jitna paas aa jaayein physically adi malini fact remains that they are emotionally so distant and no nazdeeki or pose seem to end that doori between them while adi imlie jitna bhi door hai aise yet they are so close and bonded and a unit..

@bold: So true.....and if you notice, the dance mostly came about cuz Malini was watching the other wives enviously and expecting a flower from Adi😆.....and Adi scoffed at that saying that Malini isn't expecting flowers from him but she shrugged off his arm thoda rooth ke😆. Uske baad hi Adi ko yeh sab gestures soojhne shuru huye ki dip kar do wagairah to make her smile......every single time without fail, his "romance" is a response to Malini guilt tripping him in some form😆.....jo cheezein itni demand kar kar ke dikhaani padein, unka kya matlab reh jaata hai, Malini? Kabhi toh socho.

So yes, it does make you think ki ab hum waise bhi social media ki duniya mein rehte hain where people have been incentivized even more to get busy putting on an act to show the world rather than actually living life.....woh ab ek aam baat ho gayi hai ki jab tak har "anniversary" ki 10 pose waali photos na daalo, woh real nahin hoti😆. Do logon ka aapas mein kya actual connection hai isn't considered "real" unless there are grand pictures to validate it😆.

In that sense, Adi-Imlie are a rare kind of old-school slow-burn in many ways too....they are physically distant compared to Adi-Malini but a deeper, more meaningful intensity is building up between them.
