Karma Points will be based on member's overall site wide performance not limited to a particular forum.

3. Well they are not same badge. We will be renaming them soon for more clarity. Think it more like levels and its assigned for each topic which crosses 50 / 100 / 250 / 500 participants.

BTW all badges will carry certain points which will be added to the Karma Points also. (currently in works)
