Hello everyone. 🤗
This is my pov on today's episode.Apologies for such a long post.I can't express in short & simple words, and that results into this:
The starting scene of Ani & Bon was so beautiful.Bondita doing tarq against injustice & Anirudh supporting her proudly. Then the kulfi eating scene. This boy is making sure that Bon lives her childhood. That happiness on that face of the innocent soul has my heart.
Then comes the scene in front of the door. How happily he said that womanhood should be celebrated. According to him, it was a progressive thought.Little did he know what was waiting for him right after few minutes. Then he noticed the opened shoelace of Bondita.Something which could be an obstacle on her way while walking forward. He immediately tied it so that Bondita doesn't fall & hurt herself. This is what he has been doing all along. Making a smooth & better future for her where she can stand strong. He is trying his best to make her present better as well.
I loved how directly he put his point in front of everyone that he would not share room with Bondita. Here also he was concerned for Bondita. He made sure she doesn't listen to all this crap, so he sent her to the room. This reminded me of the episode where he sent Bon away while talking about their marriage cause it could impact her in bad way. Another proof of how Anirudh always tries his best to keep the innocence in her alive.
He dragging the pandits out that way represented how disgusted he was on just hearing something like that. Then kaka started. Not just Anirudh, even I felt disgusted listening to kaka. And this used to be the reality back then. How lucky we are to be born in today's era.Lets go back to Ani again. Our boy again cleared what he thinks about these orthodox customs. How right he was when he mentioned that Bon doesn't even know what marital relationship of that manner means, she is a child; how wrong it is to expect kids from girls of such age.His 'Bondita' in reply to kaka's words clearly shows he can't even think of all these regarding that innocent soul. His only concern is Bondita in every way.
What did kaka do after that?He promised Sampoorna that he would give her the status of 'Roy Chaudhary Bahu' if she convinces Bon. Seriously??!!! He made a deal out of it? And that evil woman tried to fill that innocent girl's brain with all craps.I loved how Bondita spoke about her relationship with Anirudh. Their understanding, they giving importance to each other's words - aren't these the basis of every beautiful relationship? See, even an innocent kid understands that, but not the society.
Bondita being her innocent self was sharing everything she had been told with Anirudh. Little did she know it was not same for Anirudh.Being an adult, he had to face all the craps. He didn't know how to explain the meaning of sharing rooms according to his family members & the society to her.He was hesitating to even touch or go near her. For the first time, he couldn't answer Bondita's question and left like that.He has to take care about the fact that he has to keep her innocence intact. He needs time to figure out how to handle the situation & explain this to her.The situation is shocking for him as well.Once he gathers himself, he will explain the needed thing to Bondita like he always does.
Kaka's words were already haunting him.Bondita's questions only increased that. How helpless he was looking while sitting alone. And he has no one to even share all this.Tbvh, I did not feel bad at all that he used the word 'Zimmedari' in his self thought.Do you know why? Because this depicts how pure his care, concern for Bon is, how pure his attachment with Bon is.He has no such desire for her. This is all about his & Bondita's relationship; no previous relationship of his has any place here. Can we for atleast once think about the context?Did he for once say 'You are not my wife, Bondita' in that monologue?NO.That dialog was clearly regarding getting into a marital relationship.Anirudh gave her the name of being his wife because he witnessed what the society did to her when he denied. And a wife is a husband's responsibility as well. But here the situation is different. He is being forced into something which is not right at all.About 'patni ka adhikar' wala dialog, Ani cannot even think of giving her that status till she turns adult. He doesn't consider her as his wife in that sense. If he did, that would have been out of character for him.She is still a child for him.Responsibility hi hai woh.Wife, but a responsibility; not wife in that sense what everyone else is expecting. But that doesn't mean Anirudh considers a husband-wife relationship only of that kind.He is thinking about this because of what Kaka told & expected from him. This guy has been playing every possible role in Bondita's life.He has no experience of all these, but still managing everything for Bondita & himself.Speaks enough about her importance in his life.
When he returned back home, Bihari's words made him feel disgusted to the core again. His expression said it all. I can't forget the horror-stricken face when he heard Bondita's footstep/sound of her anklet. This is the same thing which used to make him happy earlier. Can you imagine how disturbed & scared this boy has become that he started hallucinating? This clearly shows that men can also be victim in such cases, not only women. Forcing someone into marital relationship is wrong irrespective of gender. I will be really happy if makers address this gender thing as well.
Kaka/Mr. Trilochan Roy Chaudhary, look at your son. What have you done to this boy.If your words have done this to him, what your action will do to him, just think once.
I have said this before & I will keep saying this again and again, Anirudh's care & concern for Bondita was, is & will always be pure & genuine. Yes, he thought her as a badlaav partner, a companion in fulfilling his dream of bringing change in society; but he never used her. Even thinking of this is a disrespect to Anirudh, let alone believing.
Lastly, I loved Pravisht's performance today. Subtle change in expressions along with dialog delivery. Conveyed exactly what needed to be conveyed; nothing more, nothing less.
That is why despite we say we are harsh with him yet we love him for his traits , he is also pure soul like bon baby , he is so good that despite of his wondering feelings and love for bon , he will feel bon to choose her life , that is why they need to let go of each other and then rediscover themselves in journey of love and in order for bon to realise that she loves ani that is why she is expected to marry him she needs another male guy in her life to change their dynamics
Also I think makers are showing all aspects of child marriages now so that in future they will show a predetermined bon and by the time bon grows up her way of seeing love and husband in ani will change
