Oh, hon, I feel for you. It must be so heart wrenching to see someone else stealing your work and taking all the credits. I have literally blasted this stupid woman on her public announcement boards. I truly hope Wattpad will take swift action and get the stories removed. Shameful what has happened. She must be bonkers to think no one would come to know.

I truly believe people can improve their writing by just...writing. I improved a lot from one of my first stories, which was pretty laughable when I look at it from a 10 year lens. These little thieves don’t realise the pain and hurt they cause a hardworking author when they steal their work. It takes painstaking effort to get one piece out and I wish there were stricter methods on IF to protect your work.

WTH!! How can people steal someone's work so easily.😡 No shame, no conscience, seriously this is so annoying. 🤬

We know you put your heart and soul into your writing. ❤️ It takes alot of effort and hardwork to come up with such amazing work.

Hopefully its taken down asap by wattpad.

Wish there were better mechanisms to cope up with such issues.

I think its been removed now. I could see it a few mins back and now it says user not found.

That's good to know. For a second, I was worried that I might have just been muted.

I agree!!! While I'm super duper mad at her, I still want her to continue writing if that's truly what she wants to exceed at. Heck, I have my own pieces floating around her from 10 years ago, and they weren't anywhere near as good as they are now. Writing is a craft that can only be honed with practice. It's not a talent that can be so easily stolen.

I wish so as well, but unfortunately IF isn't that great when it comes to helping out writers. The only safe space that I've operated in without any problems has been AO3.
