Reading a thread tho and (IDK how much truth there is in it but) it seems every time EK is thinking of a new show, SM's name is there in the running (presuming he's not on something already)...so I guess that's a good thing?

God, I had such high hopes for her in that. I watched bits and pieces of Kuch Rang (which I think was her first show?) and she was kinda good in that...a bit kacchi but mostly quite good. I guess teh writing helped too. It was a better written show than KZK that's for sure.

Speaking of Kuch Rang it was made by Beyond Dreams, so the new show could be quite good, whoever gets it.

I remember the craze of that show. They shut it and then bought it back didnt they? They has some really good actors in there SP she’s a veteran. SS was good apparently though I don’t know much about that.

SM and Aamna that would have been very interesting to see as well. Wonder who they would have bought as RB. Because we all know KSG was bought for his fans and ‘stardom’ as HK had left the show by that point.

IDK about that but I watched some eps on YT...apparently it was very different in that it was a more realistic storytelling, and Erica's character (from what I watched, post-leap sections) was super strong. I kind of loved her, in the few eps I watched. Shaheer was okay too but he's not really my cup of tea so I wasn't blown away. SP was wonderful as always but I hated her char (as you were kinda meant to). I stopped watching part way but it was a decent enough show.

IDK why she brought KSG back (apart from the stardom thing) - he was AWFUL. I think they were in two minds about whether to try a new story or stick with the old that they got stuck halfway in between. They took ages to intro Bajaj and brought some random villain in first (Mohini's bro who wanted to marry Prerna like WTAF). I didn't like HK's version of Komo...Aamna was better.

BUT I say all this as someone who watched the first maybe 20-odd eps and then clips here and there 🤣 not like I have some expert opinion on this. But yeah, that show tarnished the "legacy" of the OG KZK, which for all its flaws was miles better. OG Prerna, for one, was miles better than nuPrerna - stronger, more independent, more fiery, more everything. I guess Onubaba fared the best of all the leads - at least in KZK 2 he wasn't the rhondu loser from season 1...

I know nothing about that show except that it has a stupid title 😆 don't care for all these Covid-related shows/titles etc. If I wanted to think about Covid I have plenty of other options 🤔🤣

That show also didn't last long though, right? Again, glad he picked what he did. Whatever else is true about N5, what's also true is the good things we got out of it 🧿🖤

Ok so I didn’t watch the start but watched it from P’s marriage to Mohinis bro to Switzerland. I was literally like WTF. Bajaj did a skydive from a building?!! And at no point did I ever see P soften to Bajaj after nothing. She literally throughout the show literally me noted and behaved the same with EVERYONE. Yeah he didn’t cry as much this one was more of a football that everyone took turns to kick about. Didn’t even get the fuss over him 🤣
