It is very common in ITV shows for makers to change the characteristics of characters as they deemed fit. Another reason I don't like to invest my emotions in TV soaps. But I admired how the makers tried to stay as true to the character's traits as possible. But with this track, they have joined the typical ITV gangs who show nonsense in the name of entertainment.

I really hope they wake up at least now and surprise us. It is sad to see a story of so much potential go to waste.
