At this point I'm feeling pretty hopeless....as far as iv seen, EK and BT hardly care for most people's feedback...to say nothing of the CVS....they just keep doing whatever they want. I was a bit hopeful after they seemed to respond a bit at first but now I think they are satisfied with the current stable trp ( which is a shame...even SNS2 is higher!) Yhc was my first itv show since childhood....I was so happy with the initial episodes that I started giving more of them a chance.....it's very sad to see how much the show deteriorated and now I'm afraid the other shows may be a disappointment too.

And to think they have such a good chance of pleasing both trp and online audience...and are throwing it away for God knows what

I can't believe it's the same set of writers & CVs who gave us some amazing episodes who are writing this trash now..

Mahima track handling was completely pathetic.. on top of that killing Ballu & bringing imposter etc is the worst twist for the show at this point.. Already this show has much lesser OG characters/ family members as compared to other Ek shows / YHM.. So there was less scope of good family scenes.. now Ballu is gone, it's spoiled more..

I don't know why people are excited for imposter, like they have no experience of ITV😆 it's going to be another pathetic track.. as much as I would love to see Abrar in double role, Now is not the time.. Once imposter Rudra comes, the SS of Rusha or Rusharansh will reduce considerably & we will get more of Mahima - imposter Ru scenes.. it's just another ploy of writers to give more SS to Mahima & a track to show Mahima bahoot khatarnak hai🤢 or else to show a love angle of M & fake Ru BC he already slept with her🤢 I don't want to see Abrar romancing this woman again ( not atleast in this show).. one scene itself caused enough trauma forever🤮🤮🤮

3 villains (M, Yuv & imposter) Vs a dumb FL, a useless family & a helpless or missing ML is a pathetic storyline... Im not at all looking forward.. I was excited thinking maybe they are closing M track with Ballu's death.. but if they are opening up a new imposter track by retaining Mahima, I have nothing to say.. even Abrargun won't be able to save this show..

Yeah, I can't believe this was the same set of writers that wrote the BB track and Ru's falling in love phase.

In hindsight though, I think some change might have happened after the MU. Ever since they conceived the Mahima track (the phone call that Ru received en route to the forensic lab), everything has been rushed. Initially, I was excited to see Mahima's entry because of the potential it had of bringing drama to the storyline. Instead the writers just breezed through all the high points - Ru getting to know Pree is not Saransh's Mom, Ru's confession, Ru's redemption, Saransh getting to know Pree is not his real Mom, Ballu getting to know Saransh is his real grandson, the custody track, Pree's confession, and now Pree's MU. Each of them could have been developed into full-blown tracks with high TRP potential but they were all just used as lollipops. And the worst part is this trash writing shows no signs of stopping.

Now, they are killing off a major character who despite his gray shades was loved by the audience. Plus, bringing in an impostor that too of a famous rockstar - whaaattt! The makers generally do this once they run out of ideas after 2 years or so, and here they are doing this when it's not even been a year so far! 🤔

Plus, like you said, we already have a lot of negative characters in the show. We don't need another one. On the contrary, we are highly in need of likeable and positive characters. Currently, there are very few in the show. And for TRPs, leads need to be shown scoring small wins against the villains before the eventual big win. It's somewhat of a process. But in YHC, we just have a cesspool of negativity going on currently. I am not sure how they think this is going to increase their TRPs frankly. 🤪

Yeah, it's weird how complacent the YHC makers are being with the current TRPs when they are easily capable of getting 2.5+ with people already hooked on to RuSha. Anupama has a very high viewership and instead of cashing in on the synergies, the makers are just bent on destroying their own show. It's so sad to see what they have done to the show in the last three months. 😒

Exactly

no problem with villain/negative leads

but as you mentioned in TRP post there is so much negativity

and showing villains always winning is irritating 🤢👎🏼

moreover child abuse and story going in circles

sometimes leads winning sometimes villain winning is useful pattern to keep audience hooked👍🏼

but here leads always lose and cry😆🤣

Hope they wrap tracks fast like earlier (I mean develop them but progress nicely not stretch them)

Saaransh's truth had such a potential

but it came out in bizarre way😆

anyway afterall it's business

toh joh bhi kare

be careful CVs😆

@bold - I actually still can't believe how they handled the Saransh revelation. This was core to Pree's character and Rusha's development and it just got done in a jiffy. No focus on their emotions at all. Even the part where S comes to know Pree is not his real Mom. For a child, that is a huuuge thing and sometimes can scar them forever especially when the reveal is done like how Ahana did it. But again, instead of focusing on the characters and their development, these writers just rushed through everything, only to get stuck in a loop of Mahima's suicide attempts, murders, and now abuse! Agar koi plot tha hi nahi, toh itna rush kyun kiya?! 🤬

I am not sure what worked for the Bhagyas but Zee definitely has a different audience base than SP. If you look at the top SP shows, the thing that drives the TRPs is villains plotting but eventually being made popat by the leads (be it Anupama giving back to Kavya and Vanraj, Imlie giving back to everyone, Sai giving back to her toxic in-laws) with focus on the leads development, some fun scenes, with a bit of family drama added in. Look at YRKKH, they reset the leads' story and are solely focusing on their development, and look at how that has worked wonders for the TRP. A show previously fetching 1.9-2 is now 2.5+, and this is even after 1200+ episodes and having KDB as the slot competitor.

So, the argument that this trash writing is all for TRPs doesn't hold much weight. Our TRPs have been pretty much stable. If anything, it has always fallen when the focus has been too much on Mahima. I think just like the online audience, the TRP audience is also sticking through because of RuSha/Abrargun. But if the negativity continues, people are bound to give up at some point. I can't remember the last time we had fun upbeat scenes in YHC. It is sad that a show which was so positive before (discounting the jail track) is now one of the most negative shows currently on SP.

Yh I still remember it used to be one of the top 2 shows it's no where near 5 sometimes I feel like thy doing it on purpose to end the show to get it axed it's so annoying yaar rusha have such gdbstrong fan base lekin unko qadar hi nahi hai I cnt watch this week episodes just thought of balraj leaving is stopping me from enjoying the show or even wat h the past episodes It's sad I cnt belive I have never fallen addicted to a show before as much as this show and the whole weekend I've been thinking why why did the Cvs do this I never thought destroying khurana would mean killing balraj liek really I wana say I am done with he show but rusha hold me bk but if the episode not gd I wont waste my time on it its gna be alot of rhona dhona this week pata nahi stry agein bhi barhegi ke nahi
