My grandmother once told me that in those days women used to bleed 10 to 12 days regularly and that was because of the food they consume like more oily and ghee jaggery a lot which cause the woman to bleed more

It is true that the first period stays longer for some girls.. but we don’t know if makers are thinking in the same direction we can just sit and wait
