I think she’s a fairly strong girl. She isn’t the type to live in denial. Plus Veer’s attitude didn’t change substantially, he was just more sad. Surprisingly Rani didn’t catch the constant tears in his eyes or she attributed it to problems in the village/rasams etc. But it’s tough to assume Ranisa would say that.

Also if you remember the Champa sequence where she tried having Champa reveal the truth about Jai, it shows she trusts people easily. If Ranisa sent Veer with her, she won’t think about conspiracies behind it.
