Yep obahus had almost same ms...but anika's 1st one was still good and a little unique acc to that time!!

That's basically it with the long ones...esp bc in the proper saas-bahu shows of old, they ALL had super long mangalsutras to match their sanskaari bahu sarees.

I liked Anika's first one, but then the others were a bit mehh..

It also felt like a nice piece of modern jewellery. Ofc mangalsutras are not "jewellery" per se but you know what I mean? It didn't feel out of style when she wore either jewellery alongside it...or like it was a loud announcement ke HERE THIS IS MY MANGALSUTRA I AM A MARRIED WOMAN. It was subtle and fit in with the rest of her look and vibe.

It's the same with us punjabis as well...ms Kabhi kabhi pehna jaiyega like jewellery.

My maa toh infact shaddi vgrh main neck piece ki jagah ms daal ke kehti hai...lo done ho gya!! It's a jewellery for her 🤣🤣
