The mangalsutra eps kinda gives away that even during that time she was melting for him. She could have just stopped him from putting the mangalsutra and sindoor...just pushed his hand away but al she did was look into the mirror while he "married" her.
Yes she could have easily stopped him from putting the mangalsutra on her. I think she was so awestruck by him in that moment. Up until then she saw their relationship as this push-pull -- she didn't take him or his love or their marriage seriously. But then he said "love may be one-sided, but marriage is a two-way street", and that struck a chord. From that moment she was subconsciously (and sometimes consciously) his wife for real. She accepted the marriage, even if not him completely. I think he surprised her at every turn and Bani.exe just stopped working when that happened 😆
Monologues would have been great, for sure, to express these conflicting emotions in her.
