i don't watch anupama but based on the things that you mentioned above am going to give my opinion.
there are a lot of differences in both situations and stories.
as anupama got cheated she decided not to bend in front of her husband's ego and wrong deeds and decided to do something for herself to prove her worth to her husband and to society.
anupama's family supported her, her inlaws were very supportive like anandi's family in balika vadu, there also heroine got cheated by her husband and she continued her studies for her betterment not cuz of any majboori and people like such woman empowerment stuff.
here anupriya was never interested in getting educated, in season 1 kalyani forced her to go to college and later anupriya developed some interest cuz of kalyani's support. in season 2 AS forced her to become a lawyer for her own selfish reasons. anupriya bas haalaton se majboor hoke, AS ki baath na taalne ki wajah se padai complete ki and became lawyer, of course, she worked hard ut not with the intention on self-betterment.
an also anupama took stand for herself, haalaaton ke saamne jhuki nay, whereas anupriya even after she became lawyer usmein thodi si bhi self-respect or confidence nay thi, bas beech beech mein 1-2 scenes when it was about kalyani only she raised her voice, warna side mein khade hoke sab ke thaane sunti thi.
they didnt show her empowerment track even after she became lawyer. abhi all of sudden won bhi '7 days' mein if she does something and prove herself even after that she will remain chooha and go back to being underconfident and abla naari type mahila so basically there is no use of this 7 days challenge also. abhi tho show ke start huye bhi 2.5 years hogaye hai. then who will want to watch this suddent 'kaabilyat' of anupriya?
