IDK why people think the creatives changed the plan from J-B to V-B. Because they didn't. It was clear from day 1 that it was always gonna be V-B, because a) that's how Kekta works. The bad boy always gets the girl, even if it looks like the nice guy is the hero; b) and more importantly, they said as much in the HK eps where she was told that maybe her love story needs to change and the forbidden love is maybe the right one.

So why do people assume it was fandom who somehow changed the direction?
