I always avoided the dramas he's in. I really never liked him 🤣
I watched him in few dramas , and he is very boring and expressionless.🥱

I think it's fine because a lot of dramas run on if the cast is "pretty/handsome/hot" sometimes. There are some models that I wonder if they were bad or just didn't want to work; like Shahzad Noor. Never watched his shows but he seems to be popular.
Thanks for sharing your views.
I agree dramas run on the looks of their leads, but till when will those handsome guys with good looks survive ? In the end it is talent which matters, acting skills do matter. And seeing models venturing to drama industry and getting lead roles while many talented ppl have to struggle irks me. You see Saheefa , Areeba, Anam Gohar , Arslan Asad Butt, Sadia Khan and many others , got lead roles although they lack acting skills .😔
Shehzaad isn't popular. I am sure you must've watched him in a drama but forgot him. 😆 He was in Gustakh Dil and Zakham.😃

just like not all actors suit singing, same way not all singers suit acting.
Yeah exactly and such singers and actors should just stick to singing and acting respectively.
I have no problem with it. If that person can act than he/she should get a chance. Some models are good actors as well so its fine if they get to work in dramas or movies but if these models are not good actors but still getting work on basis of their appearances than that's unfair. Models like neha rajput or areeba are not impressive actors still getting dramas.
Thanks for sharing your opinion. 😊
I think we all agree that if a model have the talent he can become a good actor, but if not he/she souldn't get the chance which many other actors are struggling to get.
Neha Rajboot disappeared after her first drama : Morey Saiyyan.. which is good because she isn't a great actress. Now she is coming back in a multi actors show on a less watched channel.. so I doubt she'll get recognized. 😕
Areeba got success on her debut show.. so she got few more offers. She is still not impressive ..but I think she'll get few more offers.🤔
I wonder if actors who come from theatre and acting academies get these chances as models.😕
I think its unfair for new talent who is more deserving, singers and models already have the fame and fanbase and get into dramas easily whereas newcomers have to try harder to land themself a project. Same issue as nepotism.

I agree. And now tiktokers too are being casted in dramas based on their popularity in social media. I though like Hania Aamir , but I think she got it easily.. unlike many actresses who had to struggle .. like: Yumna Zaidi , Mira Sethi , Mariam Nafees, Mariam Ansari , Mansha Pasha..
Imran Ashraf is an example of how much struggle a good actor has to go through before getting lead roles. There are other actors who got recognized only in their 30s like: Wahaj Ali and Usman Mukhtar. There are also good actors who are still struggling , like : Ali Ansari , Zain Afzal and Paras Masroor.😒

didnt hania aamir get a lead role as soon as she entered the drama industry, in phir wohi mohabbat? whereas mira sethi still hasnt gotten a lead role even today
even Nomi from raaz e ulfat is more deserving

Hania first appeared in Janaan movie in a supporting role.. then went directly to lead roles in dramas. That's why I said she had an easy entry to drama industry.. because she was famous of her dubsmash videos.
Mira is still doing supporting roles , so does many other actresses who've been in the industry for years.😒
Yes .. Nomi (Danial Afzal) deserves lead roles. He proved his versatility as an actor.. and he has a gr8 physique too.👍🏼
In a country where more than half of the population dreams of or has at least once dreamed of being an actor, it is not surprising that models, singers, tiktokers, starkids.. everyone jumps to try a hand in acting at the first opportunity. Doesn't surprise me a bit.
But i have always maintained that people come into this business for two reasons -
1. To contribute to the craft, for the love of the craft.
2. For fame & money.
The ones that are in it for the love of craft, they stand out in the crowd of wannabes. They come prepared, know their skills and polish them as needed, when needed. Even in their debut, they may appear amateur but still show some spunk. The example i can think of is Imran Ashraf. The first few dramas i saw of him, he was in supporting roles but his acting chops were on point. Same for Sajal, Ahad, Mawra, Saba. Look at Fawad, he was a non-actor who forayed into acting and he was good from get go. Sanam Saeed is another fine example.
If the models/hosts wish to transition into acting, the least they should do is prep before debuting. More than them, i blame the producers and makers who just cast a popular face based on their beauty or popularity whether or not they are worthy of the acting opportunity. They should at least do a screen test to ensure there is a minimum level of acting skills whether it is models, star kids or show hosts.
But if fame is what these debutantes seek, then you will end up getting non-deserving non-actors in lead roles like Armeena Khan, Aiza Khan, Adnan Malik etc.
