I did not feel the slightest bit of empathy for TMK in her crocodile tears. Honestly, I was surprised she could cry, pretty sure those were the toxicity coming out of her tear glands from drinking didi's toxic tea.

I see no reason for Usha maushi to bring it up unless it is to close the loop of Amay's storyline with muhalle ki ladies praising Sai.

I dont know why she is trying to convince kaku and gang. I understand she wants best for Sai, but she shouldn't have spoken behind Sai's back as she has no standing there.

I think Ashwini’s family (maika) is poor or lower middle class (still may be). Plus her mother is now unwell. Ashwini doesnt have a graduate degree or a job. She had a child to consider. Under the circumstances how could she fight back or walk out? She could not even risk being thrown out by TMK, which that lady is perfectly capable of doing. At least Ashwini is not staying silent but vocally making her troubles known.

That sad thing is, she herself is now being partisan in the way she treats the bahus of the next generation, because of blind love for her son. The irrational mother overshadows the sensible woman.
