Re: Adi's "yeh nikal nahin raha"....haan wohi ekdum almost like a helpless kid he said it....and once again I'm struck by that side of his that he shows pretty freely especially with Imlie. Us moment mein, even though he was the older one, he unraveled like a kid in some ways and Imlie was being the mature one guiding him.....role reversal ho gaya ironically.

Oh another thing I think we haven't mentioned yet is iska sita maiya is kind of subdued version of bappa of nakku too she has beleive but i like ke she doesn't have the catchphrase an overly annoying one she mentions it but kaafi normal hai iska sita Maiya mentions kabhi bhi overpower nahi karta ya annoying nahi hota. bhakt hai but moderation main nakku and bappa ka bond bohat hi zyada deep and unbreakable tha Unbreakable toh yeh bhi hai but yeh uss level ki deewani nahi hai.. bada realistic hai sita Maaiyan ka zikar .I think what I am trying to say by TV standards. Idk if comparing it to nakku and bappa is right caz uska context alag tha she had a different kind of bond with bappa

New cousin will get apne karmon ka phal in the shaadi drama.....wait for it😆

Haan sangeet was done pretty normally for ITV.....bas Imlie ka mopey shakal as she was watching Adi-Malini ka romantic dance was making me😆

I think it was from this epi onwards that Adi ki fikar badh gayi for Imlie after he saw how badly she got into trouble over the spiked drink.....and then her venting out her feelings to him too. And then ofcourse Mrs. C ka non-stop ranting about Imlie in every function - calling her naukraani over and over again started bothering him more.

Re: Sita Maiyya.....haan it's a relatively subdued version of the standard trope of FLs ka preferred god/goddess mantra....lol.....it feels more natural with Imlie I think also cuz of the rustic feel of her backdrop and the way everyone in her village evokes Sita Maiyya.....when they all earnestly say, "baaki sab Sita Maiyya sambhaal legi", it doesn't feel like bas kehne ke liye bol rahe hain, the deeply believe in that philosophy.

Bhai yeh parents kahan se laavat hai *jaw drop* they come so handy and are so understaning definately not from ITV am familiar with the way he so organically hugged his papa after that for reassurance and then his taqdeer humare khilaaf haii... he is now torn for real and feeling the heat even more so as the shaadi ka time is nearing.

It is terrible that bechara jo shaadi kabse karna chahta tha ab karr nahi paa raha khishi se usme bhi be dilli hai even if he wants to be happy he can't caz his mind keeps getting filled with past wali shaadi maanta nahi hai but that can't be erased caz it had happened for real

His convo with his father was another turning point I feel.....us point ke baad isko zyada consciously feel hone lag padaa the meaning of the responsibility that comes with marrying someone.....the whole time his dad was telling him that, his mind was only focused on his marriage to Imlie and the responsibility weighed heavy on his mind even if he wanted to deny that marriage meant anything.

Yeah, bura toh feel hota hi hai for him on a level ki jo itne time se khushi se karna chahta tha, ab woh bhi nahin kar paa raha....but he will have to realize at some point ki Imlie ki choices isse bhi zyada reduce ho gayi hain because of all this and he can't just pack her off and think the issue is closed.

Forum mein bhi someone was making the point ki if Adi really doesn't think that shaadi with Imlie meant anything, why doesn't he take steps to legally dissolve it or get the villagers arrested for doing this. I think the reason he doesn't do that is because he doesn't want to take any steps to have to even acknowledge that happened.....legally dissolve karne ke liye bhi he will have to legally accept first ki the marriage happened.....and villagers he won't get arrested cuz Imlie's family waale hain and he can't do that to them cuz he's not vindictive like that. This is why he wants to go the route of "let's all just forget this ever happened and keep living our lives"....what he will only realize much later is how real the marriage is for Imlie's side of the society and there will be no escaping that for her no matter what he wishes.

That aside, there is still a contradiction in how quickly Adi claims Imlie as his patni around Pagdandiya waale jab bhi koi crisis situation ho.....like he first did it in front of that guy who accosted Imlie in the NGO in Delhi....uske saamne full haq se patni bol diya Imlie ko Adi ne.....then later in this gunshot epi also he told that police officer full haq se ki yeh meri patni hai and isko kuch ho gaya toh I'll destroy you. Did he really need to do those things either time to protect Imlie?.....it's something to wonder about.....lol woh sab bole bagair bhi toh usko protect kar hi sakta tha I think.

I caught up on the last two SAKK epis and saw the Anokhi interview scenes......LOL they covered quite a range of topics from economics to Shakespeare, literature....heck even a Wodehouse reference😆.....good scene. But Shaurya was being petulant as usual.....Shaan for once was behaving like a mature adult.

Shaurya was trying to maaro snide taunts to Anokhi throughout the scene but she handled them all with dignity and kept her focus on answering the questions.

The rest is so much drag though.....I forwarded all the other scenes.....lol

Oh I really like sasural bete ka saath deta hai and beti maayka ka scene kitna sach hai people don't try to understand the general problem bas sides leni hoti hai and yeh prove karna hota hai ke hum hi sahi hain her but I don't have any. becahra babusahib felt bad 😅 but again it is remarkable how he just spills whatever comes on his mind like you try so hard to win sabka dil aise hi casually. Iss case main toh I think it came aise in flow and not that he was trying to hurt but it triggered her caz of her situation as the quote was too fresh in her mind so she repeated that only ke darne ki zaroorat nahin hain she can't do any harm to him since nobody will beleive her

I just loved this scene! She is really in such a scary situation and living with that everyday. When she says mera to na mayka hai na sasural. Such a situation to be in. Even though she acts like a carefree kid or a jhalli most of the times, it times like this I really get taken aback by how in some ways she is way beyond her age and that mainly comes from the life she has lived. What was heartbreaking is to hear her say woh has kar isliye bol lete hai kyunki unhe para nahi, par jab pata chalega us din sirf nafrat karenge. Such a no win situation for her and these little conversations does slowly build on the guilt that Adi has.

And even when they called her gareeb he had that look uhm not her wali .. babu sahib ko bura lagne laga hai jab others say something to her but khud kahe jaawat hain non stop lolwa

The little dance the whole family did was cute and seemed so natural as if it was not choreographed. Lol even Sure sure danced 🤣

Also babusa kitna bhi door bhagne ki koshish kare, everything he does gets associated with Imlie. 😆 Lol even his Mehendi had Imlie on it.

Living her father’s dream of pursuing something big in life, Sumbul Touqeer Khan says “My father is a dance choreographer in several dance reality shows and he always wanted his kids to do something big in life. He saw that his kids -- my sister and I -- had a great interest in dancing so he gave this a thought and finally decided to pack his bags and bring us all to Mumbai from Delhi in 2016 where we could try our luck in the entertainment industry. So this acting ka keeda was basically given to me and my sister (who too is an actress) by our dad. My sister and I did a lot of Krishna and Ram Leela plays in Delhi from where we got inclined towards acting.”

Sumbul Touqeer Khan further commented, “My parents got divorced when I was six, though life was different yet not difficult as I loved my dad who took care of me and my sister like a father and mother, both. My father used to wake us up for school, get us ready, prepare our breakfast and then after we used to go to school he would go to work. I was very close to my mother till we were in Delhi, my father didn't have any problems with that. But after we shifted to Mumbai, I lost touch with my mother."

Sumbul says she also tried once to find a suitable wife for her dad, "My dad never remarried as he wasn't sure how his daughters will be treated by the stepmother. I have tried finding a bride for my dad once but the experience wasn't a good one. So as much as I would like him to be remarried, I would want him to be ready for it too.”

I just love how she did not make it like a PR opportunity and simply says her dad did everything for them and they also had good relations with their mother till they were in Delhi. No sob story or sympathy generating!

Lets see how long she can stay grounded in this SM dominated age and world!

So you've reached the jagrata.....ab shaadi zyada door nahin hai so hold on to your seats😆....I found the jagrata epis SO slow and testing my patience😆.....like Imlie ka rotlu muh was really getting to me in that phase.....and then that whole locked in incident thanks to Sundar Bandar.....lol I also didn't understand why Adi BROKE the door down jab bas baahar se latch hi lagaya tha😆. Iske baad phir se dari hui Imlie asking Adi ki bataa do IS baar meri kya galti hai.....lol....I was like maaf karo bhai....yeh daily rinse/repeat of Imlie ki so called galtiyaan is getting to me😆

Heck it did get too much and thats the reason I stopped after that episode yesterday as it was getting too much. 😆 i just couldn’t watch anymore!! That door thing was lol worthy😆

But both episodes I watched today after that, I simply loved them!! Mehendi and haldi episodes, I loved all Imlie-Adi scenes and also all family scenes:)

It feels so classy and aesthetically shot!!

This. So much. Moments like these really make it hit home just how young and at risk she is of falling into problematic situations. She's full of bluster and confidence beyond her age in some ways because of the kind of life she's lived.....but otherwise she's still a kid with no stability in her life. Education was going to be her ticket to an independent life....and that got snatched away from her when she was forced into marriage. Now she can't go back to the village and can't really survive in the city without support currently because so many pitfalls await her. This is what makes her situation so heartbreaking.

Matlab I get on one level why the show will play up her bechaargi for TRPs but that aside, the story has genuinely established both Imlie and Adi's helplessness in a convincing manner. It doesn't feel forced. Both of them are stuck in a bad situation with no clear answers without hurting their loved ones badly.

And this is all seperate from however Adi-Imlie's feelings for each other will even develop....usse pehle hi bahut complicated situation hai. Once love and those kind of emotions enter the equation, this will become even more complex for both of them.

It's easy to say that Adi should just accept the marriage seeing Imlie's situation where she's got no other choices left....it would be the kind sacrificial thing to do to fix the life of a girl with a promising future. But the fact remains that it won't be fair to Adi either to expect him to go along with something simply because it was thrust upon him. It's easier said than done for a guy who has nothing in common with this girl whom he mainly thinks of as a jhalli kid to now accept her as his wife. His vision of a wife has been Malini for a long time....age-wise, city-background wise, she matches his sensibilities as he sees them. And then on top of that, he believes himself to be totally in love with her.....so with all that in mind, how can he bring himself to accept Imlie simply because her situation is so bad? This is why he keeps trying to find workable alternatives which would still help her get an education and a job without her being attached to him. But destiny has other plans.

Forum mein people keep saying, why doesn't Adi just tell the truth to everyone and get it over with? lol but point is, he did try.....it didn't work out too well and since then both him and Imlie hesitate to tell anyone....now the lie will get really big before it gets revealed....and ultimately the damage will be far greater with time. It's not like the moment Adi reveals the truth, he will make a clear choice b/w Malini and Imlie and that will be it.....lol the truth being revealed will bring a whole new set of reactions from everyone attached to them. For the purpose of the story, the lie has to be dragged out for Adi-Imlie to get time to bond and fully fall for each other I guess. Uske baad hi reveal karenge kuch to start a new set of drama.....lol

Thanks for sharing sweet bachi she is .. ntw her name was sounding familiar like the last name toh I did some search and pata chala ke kyon ... iski chpti hehan ki wajh se she was Sania na.. and few yrs ago she did waaris with Aarti singh and iqbal khan ( well iq was a cameo) jahan usko pehle week main hi kill kar dia tha lol and his zaalim maa had told the bahu ke able beti hui tohteeno betiyon or hone wali ko maar degi toh Aarti ka character hides ke 4thi bhi beti hui hai and raises her as a boy hiding it from he kid too ke woh asal main ladki hai sirf Aarti or woh dai ko pata hota hai ke beti hai asal main... she was fab too at a very young age.. bakki the show was too much for me too watch regularly hadh level of regressiveness and zulm matlab bohatttt zyada tha zulm in Aarti and her other 3 daughters yeh wali bach jaati thi caz ladka banayi hui thi lol but she would want to find a way to free her mother if all zulm. She is a fab kid too acting wise 👏 👌 😀 the show just suckedddd good acting genes both sisters have haha. I remember arti was so fond if the kid as basically yehi dono main leads thi
