Maine uss show ke baare me bahot kuch suna hai. It was made in 2014. I heard that it had incest and LGBT angle too and that incest was from the female titular character itself. Plz tell anything u all know on this.

Life Ok channel had unique good as well as regressive bad shows. That day I shared a link of wikipedia of Life Ok shows. Several shows were even finite shows with different content. I only watched 1-2 shows on Life Ok so don't know much but would see promos or read articles on them. If someone watched any shows on that channel do share it here.

Maryada was star plus (not sahara one) show which used to air @11pm....nd they showed gay relation of hero's brother but it was side story....maryada was one show which was tangling with many social issues nd gay relation was one of them

Same with laut aao trisha....main story was all about internal family politics nd they showed gay relation of lead girl trisha's chacha....again it was subplot same like maryada

Nd yes trisha was having sexual relation with oe of her cousins

Yes Maryada was on SP not Sahara. Even if its on side character what else can you expect in ITV especially in 2010? Ab toh side character me bhi nahi dikhaate hai🤣.

KYY is not counted as it was on a youth channel.

For LAT, I have focussed not only on LGBT but other issues too. Its FL was not all like stereotyped sanskari and traditional. It showed several bold topics. I searched about this show to know about it more and on google I found random discussions on indiaforums itself. From what I got to know about 2-3 topics is while majority supported the show some were giving moral bhaasans like how ITV should not show this or how it can't be watched with family. Some even said that people will learn from this and even said stupid statement like kissing is not Indian culture but Western culture but came in India due to movies. Koi madam ko ancient Indian romance aur Kamasutra ke baare me batao yaar🤣.

I seriously can't stand such moral polices because of whom we don't get bold but realistic shows. They have no issues in watching regular daily soaps which have ML abusing FL, forced marriage, EMA, in-laws torturing bahu, women plotting against other women par LGBT aur incest dekhne me maut aa jaati hai inhe. Main to Laut Aao Trisha nahi dekhi thi but I hope usme Trisha ko baad me sanskaari beti aur bahu na banaaya ho. This shows Star Group did experimented with different content even in early and mid-2010s but due to such attitude of many people they stopped experimenting it. The show simply showed about realities of many high society families which appear good to the world but are unaware of what actually is their realities so that viewers watching it can get aware of such realities. Inhe to sirf saas-bahu aur romance chaahiye. As Carryminati said- 'Apni ye strawberry duniya na kahi aur jaake basayiyo. Duniya MC thi, MC hai aur MC rahegi'. These are those people who don't want to come out of their strawberry duniya and face the truth. I hope we get Laut Aao Trisha like show again on a GEC channel. Laut Aao Trisha was a finite thriller series. When it was launched it was the number one show of Life Ok. The show divided itself into 2 seasons where first season had the main story and second season was more like an anthology courtroom series keeping Trisha as the advocate person. In total the show had quite a long run of 175 episodes (45 mins each). You can watch LAT on Hotstar if you want to, its available.
