BB didn't want Rahul to go, they had their own plans as evidenced by the target list given to Vikas. If they wanted to save jasmine then why is she out now?
Hmm when you phrase it like that then it makes sense but even then, Ruby alone is enough. Abhinav actually ruins her afruments by jumping in. When she's alone, she's savage. Rahul gets intimidated easily which is why he took so long to have a clash with her, that too after Salman telling him to up his game.
Nikki and Rahul are friends, even today.
