Pretty much a lot has been discussed earlier, but that rope around her neck was more of a connotation as a 'lajja vastra' than anything else 🤣

Ispe kaafi debates huye hai 😆.

And here is the conclusion of that - the dupatta and dori is to be considered more like a symbol rather than actual me kitna chupata hai ya nahi 😆.

Even the dori barely covers the back... lekin having it open makes one feel exposed and vulnerable. Vaise hi, the dupatta is like that for Khushi. cover kuch kare na kare, it;s a symbolic gesture and not having it makes her feel exposed.

Actually ye chiz mene ghar me bhi dekhi hai.. mummy vaise to pure din dupatte ke bina ghumte rehte hai.. but aqgar guests, khass karke koi elders vagera aane wale ho to turant dupatta lene bhagenge 😆. Of course, mummy to usko kholke bhi pehente hai.. unlike Khushi 😆. But I think it's just something ingrained in Indian women.. especially those with more traditional beliefs (unlike us 😆).
