Chandu, to answer your earlier question, I feel like depending on the TRPs, if it is 1.5 and above, it can easily be extended to the end of February. I finally watched bits and pieces of the JR, so I got an idea of what happened. Similar thing here but with a police mission twist.

From what I can make out, it seems Shera is building a small gang for himself to become well-known and infiltrate the Moksh's kidnapping gang. Cause Moksh's kidnappers seem like a bigger gang and more sophisticated gang. And I feel like its part of a Jan 26th dhamaka.

In the JR track, first ML had to convince the FL that he's was not her dead husband and then he had to convince everyone else that he is the ML and finally to trap the villian, he had to convince her that he wasn't the ML, he was just a lookalike. So it was many layers.

I feel like it is possible that on Jan 26th, he takes Avni's help to catch the criminals and then reveals to audience that he's Malhar only, not Shera, and all the back story is revealed. And after that, he continues to use the Shera roop to trap Avni. That can take a few more weeks.
