This is a big issue. If people can't follow your storyline, they won't watch. Not just enough to show romance, storyline also has to make sense.
If you look at shows like Anupama, there is hardly any romance, but a powerful and relatable storyline and its at the top.

yeha tho romance bhi nay dikhate hai. the whole show is filled with meaningless revenge tracks and negativity.
'waha' people are comparing shera and malhar and saying malhar never even smiles so feels good to see shera smiling like this š
this show has many advantages that they don't make use of. story has potential, the fanbase is strong, it's an already established show and the time slot is good. actors bond is good no conflicts or anything. they just need better writers.
Issue is that since the SamThu track ended, CVS were unable to find good tracks or villians.
1. Kethki and Vaaman track was a flop.
2. New Ranes were a MAJOR flop.
3. Rachit and Sampu track was alright. Probably their best one after SamThu as audience really liked that Malhar never doubted Kalyani.
4. Masami Bai was just weird. Had no clue where they were going with that one. I feel Shagun must have decided to take a break to pursue other opportunities so they had to end that one as well. Cause all were expecting something big after Swara and Atharva's wedding but that track also went no where.
5. Trilok didn't make any sense. So even when they show all those light moments and KalMa moments, track didn't work.
Issue is that since the SamThu track ended, CVS were unable to find good tracks or villians.

Their so called experimentation, Zee TV's habit of same same tracks, TRP pressure, no right direction ruined it

Agreed SamThu were the only villains who made sense.
All the rest were just experiments and were left as loose ends without a proper conclusion.
And I agree with you. If the story is strong and sensible there's no need to show too many romantic moments.
Mastaani bai was the most horrible. A totally unwanted track. If they wanted to show Kalyani's miscarriage, they could have opted a more lighter method than showing her being manhandled by villagers.
Even after leap, they are just jumping from track to track without any logical explanations. KalMa could have bonded before they found Moksh.
There was absolutely no need to ruin Sarthak and AnuSar. It could have been shown they had fallen apart after Kalyani fell off. Their story could have been rebuilt differently too.

they need some good writers.
some times the track itself isn't good enough and sometimes the execution is not good.
over all these negativity filled tracks, i would prefer watching some traditional ITV tracks like
memory loss,
look alike (they are showing that, finally, yaay)
3rd male angle they did that with rachit but the execution was not good, usually in such tracks we get to see the jealous and passionate side of hero, yeha hume kudh pata nay tha not even kalyani knew that rachit would go to this extent for her. and in just 2-3 days after the truth was out rachit and sampu baagliye waha se. it was all a mess. it was not executed properly.
and also cuz of the reason that they make each and every track a 'suspence thriller' involving murder mysteries and all.
there were many shows jisme leads were government officials but till date i never saw any show that based each and every track on murders, kidnappings and mysteries.
show started with a simple story like about raabta between a mother and daughter now it has become a CID, Adalat, crime patrol kind of show.

yeah it had potential.
actually , they should have at least followed other shows if they cant think of anything good. like they could have at least think about why other shows are getting good trp and why we arent.
at least compare karne se unhe answer miljaati, matlab how other shows maintain balance and how this show did not.
i mean shoot karte waqt, direct karte waqt, likhte waqt tho lagna chahiye na ki sab kithna extreme horaha hai.
anyway am happy with this shera track, even though muje yeh phir se action-packed and deshdrohi etc hone ki wajah se thoda katak rai hai but 26th jan aa rai hai so teek hai.
and last 3 episodes were balanced. am glad about that. ab bachhe ko torture karna bandh kare and aage bade.

CVS need better villians. That's what it is. Get a villian and keep that villian for a long time. And show sometimes the villian losing and sometimes the villian winning. Keep a balance and make the villian likable. And stop making the villian's motives a big mystery.
If they had balanced Avni out more and not done all the torture of Moksh, Avni could have been an alright vamp villian. Actually, Ahir and Avni team up isn't even required. It could just be that Ahir got her pregnant after he came out of jail and ditched her. And maybe got arrested again or whatever, and came back cause of Moksh. And Avni didn't want him back cause she knows he'll inherit nothing, so she thought best to kill to him, fake the sympathy and get married to Malhar instead.
Not sure how Ahir coordinated Moksh's kidnapping 5 years ago. That'll also have to be based on assumptions that Trilok teamed up with Ahir, enemy of my enemy is my friend type thing. We won't get a answer for that.
