Even I feel Vihaan died on 8th dec 2017 and Vansh assumed his identity

He’s doing all this to buy time and find out the truth

Vi said that whenever Vansh's life used to be in danger Vihaan used to save him then ye bhi to hosakta h ki before falling from cliff Vansh threw that stone to alert Vihaan but at last moment Vihaan crossed him to take his place or maybe they have swapped places at last moment and later Vansh saved Vihaan and so K didn't found any body...
