Exactly why I think Sai is best to handle them rather than Virat.

Virat might try to pacify them, Sai will show them the mirror.

They cannot really question Sai much given the circumstances in which the marriage happened and if her claims are valid (eg: the chowkidaari)

Assume they'd obvio hurdle some hurtful things for Virat & Sai, and Sai will defend him.

Misguided ones who think its for Pakhi's best that the marriage happened and this will lead to her happiness. Once they get the full picture, even if they dont change, they might keep their mouths zipped and not interfere in this family's proceedings in the future when Sammy comes back.
