I didn't even bring Deepika into this, someone else did.

And yet when we defend Deepika, people are getting upset.

As for mocking people's box-office pull, everyone does it and yet when we open a thread, it is touted as Deepika's fans do this and that.

The amount of hypocrisy is astounding.

I have given credit to actresses like Taapsee, Tripti and Parineeti where it's due -- it's not that I've made negative threads on all actresses.

People choose to see what they want to, I guess.

As for mocking a 'starlet', please for God's sake anyone who does a female-centric film can be criticized for its opening without being bogged down by how far on the stardom scale she is. If they have got a film like that, they deserve to be criticized for its opening as well.

It was never a comparison with Deepika on my side to begin with.

Yes. Was just thinking about this. Without the constant marketing barrage, they will all be starting new in 2021. Will see.

Only one I'm somewhat sure will survive is RS - not because of his star power, but because his upcoming movies seem very appealing.

The ones who've gained - the indie film/OTT actors but only the senior ones. Pankaj Tripathi, Nawaz. I believe Abhishek has a chance here.

I think 25 lakhs is pretty good for Covid times. Considering Sonam's Zoya Factor collected 70 lakhs lol Kiara is just a newbie, so that collection is pretty great.
