This drama is so messed up

As far as the first half of the show is concerned, the story was understandable... but now they actually turned it into a big mess.

Nisha being greedy for money all of a sudden n now getting her baby aborted wow this was too much

Dragging a lot with long rubber streched scenes with lots of music and pauses. Ahmer and Areej are also parallel leads. Now it is understandable why Hajra was chosen for the role. Looks like Asfi will get a clean chit from writer and will get away without facing any punishment.

I was in Malaysia and the doctor asked me if I wanted to keep the pregnancy( I did) but only with your husbands consent. My point, in Islamic countries abortion isn’t easy. yet she did it all in one appointment 😆

Exactly it was strange.

There was nothing in this episode. It was just filled with pauses and bgm. Tired of these useless pauses and that irritating bgm. There is a single dialogue in 10 minute scene. There was a scene where Nisha told Ahmer that why she came back and in reply Ahmer first came from stairs, he had eye contact with Nisha than he took longggggg pause and after that he said tum tab bhi ghalat thi tum ab bhi ghalat ho than they had long eye contact with that bgm and than she went from there but ahmer was stood there for 5 minutes without any dialogue.

Why they are wasting our time. Why this much dragging.

I watched all of the episodes of this show 3 weeks ago. Just didn't have time to put my thoughts on paper. I don't know what to say. The narration is captivating, as I am anticipating sadistic pleasure at the end. These are my views. People who don't like long posts, zaraa sambhal ke 😃

The worst of the lot in my book is Asfi😡 The actor nor the character is appealing to me. He is a la Sunny Deol in not only his looks but also his over the top mannerisms. Moreover, I can't handle the guy's whispering voice modulation🤔When Kinza aapa said " ankhein neeche karo", I was truly cheering for her👍🏼. I don't know what the actor wanted to convey there. I think he was supposed to have conveyed defiance, it felt that he is doing a Sunny Deol wala battle cry/bellow😳 The expression is that of rage as if he was double crossed. I am no expert at theatre and drama, it is my impression only. Anyway moving on.......

Coming to the last few days, the writers and directors are unconsciously trying to portray Asfi as a Meenu during her takraar with this guy and her sister. I do not approve of that at all. The last two days toh, as if he is a doodh ka dhula hua bacha being played by a evil Nisha. What even were those lines? Tum hamare aulaad ko maar dala😲? Hello !!!! Did they forget that this is the very same guy who violently pushed his full-term wife and asked her to "abort" the baby? And told her that he can't stand even looking at her? Why isn't he even thinking about the injustices he had doled out to Meenu and her parents? Why is he throwing himself a pity party as if he is a legitimate grieving widower who has been taken for a ride by Nisha? Oh ! And another one ! Something about Nisha doesn't have a streak of wafaa in her😡😡The writer seriously has lost it. Why isn't Kinzaa aapa reminding him of his sins, rather than saying " I told you that Nisha is a sinner". Seriously, this guy talks about wafaa with a straight face? I am by no means absolving Nisha of her sins, but Asfi is the worst in my book. Just because he is bringing up his own child, he is not to go down as a " bechara single, widowed father" but rather a monster who drove his wife to death, willed the non existence of his child. If Nisha is after money, he is after charisma. Both of them equally superficial😡

As far as Nisha goes, I see her as a totally mentally deranged person. She fits the DSM criteria for psychopathic personality disorder to a T. So, I am not surprised or shocked by anything she does. At least she is unapologetic in what she does, she in fact doesn't hide behind, " I don't know anything, I have been seduced " rhetoric🤓From what I see around me, nothing affects these personalities, not tragedies, nor personal setbacks. I see her perpetually doing the same mistakes in some capacity or the other. If not Ahmer, some other XYZ. Her thrill is in the hunt, doesn't really care to sit down and savor the kill. I hope they don't give her a stereotypical psychiatric admission or death.

Areej is another totally useless character in the show. I don't understand her contribution to the show or to Ahmer. i don't really care for the " I am a bechari" types. She married Ahmer with full understanding of where his heart is, I don't understand the perpetual sulking face as if she is the wronged one. Why does she have any expectations from a guy who was arm-twisted into marrying her? Now she is either sulking in front of Ahmer or throwing attitude at Nisha. I don't want to say anything more about her.

Meenu, my heart went out for herNot because she lost Asfi, but more because of her pain. If she is not so in much pain, I would have cheered the fact that Asfi left her. A true blessing in disguise. They showed full blown post-partum depression in that girl. For a girl who is so caring and affectionate, not to care for her wailing infant is unthinkableAs much as I don't like to see self immolations and suicides, in this case, her mental state made so much sense to her life's outcome. If you think about it, if I remember right, she says to herself or her mom, that she will bring up her child to be a decent young man, unlike his father. So, she really didn't plan to kill herself as a solution to her immediate problem. Depression does that to you and the sister gave her a nudgeShe, however is a beautiful human being. Loved how she reached out to Ahmer to apologize for her wrongs against him, to clear her conscience. I just hoped that she was able to talk to him.

Ahmer, I liked this character a lot. He is a deep and a sensitive guy. Especially loved how he reminisced about Meenu with a warmth of a brother. The relationship between Meenu and Ahmer is amazing. I wish that he is not forcibly married off to the insufferable Areej and let him process his heartbreak. Not sure how " Areej's mohabbat" healed him, as they were in two different continents and barely spoke to each other. Also, we would have had the privilege of seeing him withstanding a psychotic Nisha's advances, without a wife tagging behind him holding him back. A man of true character would have said an emphatic NO to a girl like Nisha whether he is married or not. Oh well ! 🤔I liked how him and his sister rallied around his aunt and uncle when they are in trouble👍🏼Even in today's episode, him trying to talk some sense into Nisha as he can't see his aunt hurting is impressive.

Kinza was good. Not sure why nobody is talking anymore about Meenu. Sabra should quit her work if she doesn't want to burst any aneurysms in her head🤓

I liked Meenu's dad, the fella who died. Acting is phenomenal. He truly lived in his character, during the last moments of his life. It is as if I am watching a real life terminal moments👍🏼 The mom's acting or her character seems a little indifferent. I don't know if it is just my perception or the character is written that way.

Overall, i had a lot to say. Only expectation I have for the end is for Asfi to suffer. His conscience should torture him, but the writer doesn't seem to be in the mood of giving us that. He is throwing himself a pity party😡

I gave up on jalan weeks ago as I didnt get what I signed up for. Asfi and nisha suffering. In the end asfi will be forgiven by his apa , he will probably apologize to meenus mom or whatever but that's not the kinda punishment he really deserves. Same goes for nisha. I think you missed one of the interviews of the shows writer. She sounded as deranged as nisha. She kind of likes nisha more..has a very skewed perspective ... ..I didnt feel like watching it any further after hearing her.all in all,shows nowadays r more dragged with flashbacks and useless stuff ..hard to find a good one.
