Is it just me who didn't really 'enjoy' today's confrontation.
It looked forced and too over the top. Being a rather non-TV watcher, I always find such scenes where guests loudly pass comments against someone and incite others very annoying and unreal.
Why do all such ITV bade khandan have such low class guests who insult and pass comments loudly at someone's wedding. Not a single function will be drama free.
But I was left a bit confused and dissatisfied with the way the entire scene played out. For almost the entire confrontation, when the family ganged up to insult Sai, Virat was siding with her. But as soon as Bhavani threatened to leave and walked away, Virat sided with PP's gyaan of respecting elders and told Sai, "Kaku means a lot to me". It took him just a few seconds to change his stand in public?
Pakhi said nothing when her parents were insulted when they wanted to take her home for few days. So she shouldn't have stepped in when Sai was defending her father, someone who gave his life to save Virat's which conveniently everyone forgot. Atleast Virat should have mentioned that if I am standing here today its coz of him otherwise i would have been dead. Can't believe what an ungrateful Kaku and Dad Virat has.
What a sudden U-turn, when you have just given a lecture on "wife's self respect"?
It was as if he just cared about Sai until Pakhi reminded him about his family. It would have been better if Ashwini stepped in and said that instead coz Pakhi.
And Sai ran to stop Bhavani for Virat, not PP so what was the 'head nodding thank you' for PP at the end of it for?
I found it wierd too. What did Pakhi do to deserve that head nodding?
The episode didn't really live up to expectations. The scene could have been better written to justify the situation.
