S9MK 😆 what a start that is in the police station with the inpesctor being gulzaar fan too and the fear of him keeping the book the the taxi wala and sarang doing ek dusre ki complain and the guy helping sarang woh book wala🤣 making a false story and sarang doing paani phero sach bolke🤣 woh toh shukar hai inspector nikla gulzar fan and appreciated him warna yeh toh khud phans jaate woh taxi wala is a sweetheart too the way he is offering free ride to him aww

I am loving the compassion they are showing between random citizens and sarang in this time and also on home front woth bai and alia. Aajkal kitna rare hai ke shows show genuinly nice and warm people who don't expect much in return and there are plenty of good people everywhere sadly they don't get the attention the need sach main itni badi smile aayi genuinly good people dekh ke in the show

Edit: ok rest is just him finding the accomodation at that taxiwalas space the lack of space and ghar issue ko bade heartfelt way main describe kia and dikhaya ke itne ke liye shukar karo atleast youa ren't on foothpath . sarang ka initial reaction ke bas itna sa 😆coming from that big haveli to then sleeping in that crammed up space and rememebring his mother and saying a poem lovely . dusri tarf alia trying to figure out the writing for that baby shower along with her team and then she found out about her hubby and phir precap is them giving the ad and sarang coming for IV

the way he opens the door not knowing who it isand trying to hide all his tears and his haalat and turns away and then as soon as he notices it is gulaal the immediate turn back and maaf karde mujhe awww. like one can see his life shaking in these moments the EXTREME Need of her that besukooni . he is so restless and he needed to say that asap

and not only that the earnestness in that moment in the maafi the genuineness even though he wasn't that wrong in his actions he was left in a situation where he didn't have much of a choice at that point then to take the extreme step of going to panhayat to call her back. i mean yes it is force in a way but Gulaal left not much of other option at tht point with her running far far away. The fact that their actions were driven by situations and that too not a situation with clear yes or no and the way they dealt with them still using their brains and choosing the best possible solutions in the moment is just something else. what i mean by that is if you see from an objective POV kesar was wrong enforcing the pati patni relationship on her and being ab toh tujhe aana hi hoga and aake act as my wife mahila morchas will be super active esp aajkal ke "viewers" on that ke doormat hogayi yeh ho gayi woh gayi but it's not any of that because the Decision was wrong esp you gotta act as my wife do everything for me but that was his way of holding onto her it was what seemed logical to him to keep her close not caz he was trying to demean her or show some MCP thoughts it was practical for him in that moment to do that caz gulaal was beyond understanding anything else and that Grey area in between every choice every decision has been such a joy to watch that very layering is making me love them so much more where i am left debating it with myself about what is right and what is wrong and who should've done what or how? and frankly my thinking matches with the characetrs from their POV's mostly which is why is it even harder to take hat decison lol. i also am loving how this show hasn't frustrated me on any point in regards to the actions of the chracters i don't feel the imeediate need to skip a whole track and just ignore a character. whatever irritation talli gave me she is making up for it and even then i had problem with her desponess only when shebehaved like the logical girl and asked valid questions i still liked those aspects.

the way he is so scared ke ab gulaal kya bolegi and then that sigh of relief☺️🤗 and that bittersweetness in the second one where he is obviously hurting caz the 3 mahine clause is bothering him but yet hearing it from her made him smile like that seeing her happy calmed him down to such a huge extent

and then again when she starts moving away iski saans ruk gayi caz it is bothering her too much and he couldn't help but say it

Yaar kya hai yeh ab itne faltu character daale jaa rahe hain right from a sadeli bua to woh talli ke sasural wale. Bada hi timewaste kar rahe hain ab. Also gulaal and uski never ending galatfehmiyan but atleast woh fun and intresting toh hain. She is all fine and fun until someone reminds her again and phir yeh back step kar leti hai like her friends saying it and her again MU kesar ki intentions I loved the bits where he gave her the cold shoulder after and went na tu khud aage bhadhti hai na mujhe bhadhne deti hai thank the lord🤣

And omg isne khud se kesar ko manaya and dosti ka haath bhadhya that was really sweet uske baad bechare itni nautanku main phase hain with that bua but ab saara screentime is.going to faltu ke log and am.getting zoned out.

Isse acha toh mujhe dushyant sudha ka track de dete I really adore dushyant too 😆 and how nice he is towards everyone now . I am least bit intrested in these bekaar ke log itne naye characters who all seem alien aur toh aur paanbha bhi badal di and this one is a flop like a mega flop

Haha you've reached the Saru Fui track😆....yeah that one was quite cliched and a shift from the otherwise solid level of writing for Gulaal. This is what I meant when I said the last month or so of the show kinda started sliding cuz of pressure from the channel and rumors of the show ending.....oh I'd almost forgotten they replaced Paanba in the last stretch.....lol yeah the new one was quite blahh.

Then I think Raman and Dushyant bhi gaayab ho gaye the in the last few weeks....I think actors started leaving when it became clear the show is going to end and budget cuts started to happen.....but still, the last couple of weeks of epis were quite good in terms of scenes for GK.

Oh word.....you know when we were watching this phase in real time, it was so hard to watch Kesar in this phase....he had become so desperate in his need for Gulaal that he had started acting out more....he again got misled by Raman in using the panchayat to coerce Gulaal into coming home....and ofcourse it was wrong of him to demand attention from Gulaal like "Mujhe khaana bhi Gulaal hi degi toh main khaunga"....these were the bits when we got to see that repressed child still inside Kesar who only knew this one way of getting Gulaal's attention and when nothing else worked, he reverted to acting like a stubborn child. Woh pyar se baat karne ki koshish karta tha toh Gulaal would slap him or say he had "paap ki bhaavna"😆.....so then he would revert to these childish stubborn tantrums to get her attention.....it really was a one of a kind clash of wills. It's like the more one acted stubborn, the other had to try and outdo that😆......they both kept digging in more and more in this stubbornness until Talli finally got through to Kesar ki Gulaal aise nahin samajhne waali and will only retreat more into a shell the more he tries to forcibly get her attention.

*Edit: And I'd add, it was just so refreshing to see women supporting each other on PRINCIPLE in this story....like Reva unabashedly telling Kesar off for his behavior with Gulaal and telling Gulaal that she completely supports her for not giving in to Kesar ke tantrums....it wasn't like the typical storylines of women only supporting or opposing each other on the basis of which man they want to impress/support. I liked that scene where Gulaal firmly pointed out that she's agreed to be a wife, not a DAASI and no one can force her to be a daasi.....matlab aaj kal ke kisi show mein milega aisa scene? Kabhi nahin😆......matlab a show where so many family members openly discuss allowing a woman her CHOICE to make decisions per HER comfort level.....I feel like preserving each epi of this show as some kind of prehistoric artifact🤣.....kyunki such storylines don't seem like they will be possible again as the world continues to regress despite claiming 'progressiveness' on some platforms.

LOL@ Talli using sindoor drama to shock Kesar into letting go of this zidd with Gulaal😆.....but to this day, I still don't get how Kesar jumped from that scene to going over to Gulaal and confronting her about how she represses herself and the woman inside her....lol matlab I LOVE that "Warna KYA"? confrontation scene but I still don't get the correlation b/w Talli's lecture to Kesar and then jumping to this scene....aisa kya connect ho gaya Kesar ke dimaag mein? lol but I did appreciate that he confronted Gulaal on his own terms and didn't make it about "Talli ne mujhe samjhaya toh now I'll let you go"😆.

And then we get DV round 3 in the Panchayat....lol....this time with Kesar wanting to break it off....Gulaal's reaction is again so telling....she isn't instantly joyous....her first reaction is shock only and she is shown very thoughtful even as she says yes to still wanting to break the DV. This back and forth about the DV was so well done in the course of the story.....every little bit reveals new layers to their thought process. This shows that Gulaal was only clinging to her decision out of stubborn pride....all she kept repeating was, "Main Kesar ko kabhi pati nahin maan sakti" even though when it came down to it, she wasn't exactly joyful about breaking the DV😆.

I loved that the show ultimately explored that even if a DV may have given a technical name to their relationship, they always shared a bond beyond the technical label of pati-patni.....Gulaal's biggest struggle was rising above those labels to understand what Kesar really meant to her.

Yeah I kinda figured that yehi reasons honge warna itna sudden switch in the entire mood nahi ho sakta they have slipped down a lot and now doing usual stuff with a random bua born out of nowhere😆 waise yeh bua woh zee wale show main bhi Neil ki dadi thi😆

Despite the cliche nature 8f it i still really like KG ka dynamic so that is well worth it gulaal ka sahi hai khud kare toh sab theek tu kare toh saala character dheela hai😆 Ab khid nautanki main itna aage jaa rahi hai and kesar is like let's put an end to this but ab gulaal is like regardless for 2 months am your wife and will do all these traditions it is irritating kesar caz it makes gulaal uncomfortable but agar yehi dosti aur yehi traditions agar kesar kare gulaal ke liye toh she goes how dare you😆 you are playing a mental fame with ne to make me stick to the marriage😆 khair abhi toh they are on friendly terms and lol the ludo playing was sweet ..what I like is they are kind of showing the development in the relationship in this phase them finding that comfort level with each other even of right now they are in pretend zone😆 ek woh kahaani ka wholesome feel toh hai ek whole journey kahan se kahan aa gaye hum wala so it is worth it for that

Aww nahi ab dushyant bhi chala jaayega ph8r it will be even more odd abhi bhi MB and GB (😆 omg I didn't realize abhi tak ke inke saare initials is memory wale KB bhi hai😆 what a co incidence) make guest appearances uppar se PB gone poonam is gone too for so long too phir bachega kya woh talli ke greedy in laws arre nahi dekhna woh. Phir piora KG centric kardo i hope yeh track jaldi khatam ho and this bua goes back to jahan se aayi hai

+100 the fact that they supported each other without any agenda is so refreshing to see and that too going against their blood relations sometimes they all stood for the right which is why all of them are so likeable and demand your attention and want you to root for them. That daasi line was toh full seeti maar moment and so on point. That is somehow the general perception ke bas daasi hi ban jao. Warna you are disobedient and not a good wife.

Hahah yes koi sense nahi tha uska pehle toh mujhe laga tha she is telling him to use these oche hathkande like I will do suicide types and usne pata nahi kaisa assr kia but I think the main point was exactly that for talli ke iss tarah ka emotional BM karke one can't get someone and kesar ko yeh tab hi samjh aaya when talli used it on him with the suicide and sindoor bhar. Oh yes I also appreciated ke yeh apni baat karta tha apne terms pe ratoo 🦜 ki tarah sab repeat nahi karta tha and valid points rakhta tha in these confrontations. The repressed woman wala point was odd because we didn't get any thing around him for him reaching that conclusion the sindoor.scene with talli only taught him to not use emotional BM yeh wala I guess was a slip but they had to reach that point so did it

Yup indeed she was shocked but it did shook him in a different way too deep down she had accepted the DV and made her peace with it just going in limbo like that she has been comfortable with the name ka DV and probably didn't wanted it ti actually break or if it breaks it breaks on her terms so when he said that she was like huh how can he for a bit 😆 but yes iska mental block yehi tha ke au4 kuch bhi theek hai we will bond we will care we will love too but won't give it the formal pati patni wala naam caz that was off limits for her😆And was a paap ki bhawna🤣

Saru Fui track will end and then a big dramatic shift will set up the last phase of the show....I won't spoil it for you :P ....but yeah there's lovely GK scenes in the last phase of the show.....some of their most poignant and beautiful ones.....it will become fully GK-centric in that last stretch.

Finally S9MK ke producers ke baare mein info mili in the title credits.....it's produced by some Anjum Abbas....I feel like I've seen this writer's name before in many Sony shows or other slice of life shows.

PH toh koi naya hi sound kar raha hai - Rangrez films or something....never heard the name before....maybe this is their first show as a PH.....kuch writers ne milke banaya lagta hai....lol

You know what, I think this Anjum Abbas was one of the writers of JLZ😆.....that would explain why that kid from JLZ is in this too.
