I might merge both the part in near future. Till then, here goes part 2. I know it is not happy ending. I always wanted Vansh to feel guilty of what she made Riddhima go through in his quest of revenge. Just mirroring that same thought here.

Part 02 :

Khushbuon se teri yunhi takra gaye
Chalte chalte dekho na hum kahaan aa gaye

Vansh looked at the vast infinity pool in front of him. He had come for a business meeting but as soon as he saw the pool he was taken back to those beautiful moment he had spent with his Riddhima. Somehow finishing the meeting he directly came beside the pool. With a champagne on his hand and a small smile adorning his face, he was lost in thoughts of his Riddhima and their last beautiful moments beside the poolside.

Flashback:

It was the time when he was in VR mansion as Vihaan. One night he found Riddhima wasn’t in her room. He went out to look for her only to find her at poolside. She was sitting alone there looking at the moon. Nearing her, he saw her cheeks were drenched in her tears. Though it broke his heart,but he had to maintain the game he had been playing alone. So he changed into Vihaan’s character and said from behind

'Itne bhi kharate nahi leta mein ke yaha aake rone lagogi, 'he said cheekily.

To his surprise, Riddhima said nothing just smiled away.

After a brief pause he sat beside her but surprisingly unlike every time she didn’t flinch.

You know? Whenever I see the moon, it reminds me of Vansh. As if he is looking at me through the moon just like I am seeing him. This poolside holds one of my most favorite memory of him. Not because he was unaware of my truth. Because that was the day I was only his Riddhima. I was drunk, true. But I was in my sense enough to know what and who is around me. And in that state I only sought Vansh. I had no hidden intention, no spying. Koi chalava nahi, koi jhut nahi. Na mere taraf se, na uske taraf se. Hum dono sirf Riddhima aur Vansh the. Who only needed each other. Today sitting here, all I can say I can even give up my life to have that one night back.

Vansh was taken aback. He was about to say something but Riddhima stopped him.

“No Vihaan, kuch maat kehna. This memory only belongs to Vansh and me. Don’t ruin it. It’s better if you go from here. I will come when I feel like.”

Was she for real? Did she actually stayed true to her emotions during their time together? Her love wasn't a lie ? Vansh was in deep thought.

Suddenly his inner voice rebuked him.

"Phirse Vansh ? Once again you are falling for her lies. All she knows is manipulating. And that's what she has been doing all alone. "

May be this is another trick of hers to showcase herself as bechari was the last thought Vansh had before leaving the pool side and her.

Flashback ends

Rang thhe, noor tha

Vansh broke the glass that he had on his hand. Blood started oozing out of his hand profusely but he didn’t feel a thing. His heart was too filled with remorse to feel anything. Only if he had believed in her emotions and stayed back to let her know her Vansh is only there. Only if he had given her a benefit of doubt. Then she would have been alive today. Breathing. He had played a dangerous game to eliminate his enemies. Only if he knew she was innocent and protected her. His ego, his jid, his stupidity to believe that Riddhima betrayed him pushed her to death. Once again she became a shield between Kabir’s gun and him. But the difference is this time, she couldn’t make it. She didn’t even fight to live. She was too broken by his betrayal. His lack of trust on her made her give up her fight for life. And by the time he got to know the truth, it was too late.

A sharp pain brought him back from his thoughts. He realized Angre has been dressing his hand. He was so lost he didn’t even realize it. He took away his hand but Angre wasn’t surprised.

Hurting yourself won’t bring her back bhai. The pain won’t go out with blood.

Only If I could feel any pain Angre. Riddhima truly left me alone in every sense. Along with her she took away all my emotions also. Now I am just waiting for another bullet to end my life so that I can go to her as soon as I can.

And what about your family ? Angre tried to reason knowing very well it would be futile.

Family is what stopping me from going to her by myself Angre. Otherwise, I would have left long ago. I know she wouldn’t like me giving up on our family. That is why I am waiting. Waiting for her mercy. Waiting for the day she will forgive me and take me back on her arms.

Angre sighed.

It’s time to go home I guess.

Vansh gave a sad smile and silently followed Angre.

Vansh smiled as soon as he entered his room. Riddhima is here . He could smell her in the air. He frantically switched on the light and looked for her.

Riddhima !!!! he called out.

To his dismay, she wasn’t there. It was another illusion he had.

Jannatein agar yahin
Tu dikhe kyon nahin
Chaand suraj sabhi hai yahaan
Intezar tera sadiyon se kar raha
Pyaasi baithi hai kab se yahaan

Vansh dejectedly sat on the floor leaning on the bed. He was unable do it anymore. He needed his Riddhima. She is all he had. She had to be here.

Please aa jao Riddhima. Apne Vansh pe taras nahi khayogi? Nahi reh sakta tumhare bina.

As if someone was listening to his prayer only to fulfill it immediately, he could feel a soft hand pressing down on his shoulder. Even without opening his eyes he knew who it was.

You are here, I knew it.

Vansh opened his eyes only to see Riddhima’s saddened eyes.

Main humesha tumhare saath hu Vansh.

Phir shamne kyun nahi aate ?

You need to learn live without me Vansh. I am just a fragment of your imagination. I do not exist in real life but only in your thoughts. You have to let me go.

No.

Yes.

No Riddhima, Never. You are my soul. How can you ask me to live without my soul?

I am not alive anymore Vansh.

Shhhh…he cupped her face.

You are here, in my heart. Jab tak mere saansein hain, tum ho Riddhima.

The tears couldn’t be held back anymore. Both of them started crying silently.

I love you Vansh. Riddhima finally gave up

Phir bulalo mujhe apne paas.

Iss parivar ko tumhari jaroorat hain Vansh.

Aur meri jaroorat?Tum meri jaroorat ho Riddhima. Kya hum kabhi saath nahi ho payenge ?

We will Vansh. Just have a little more patience?

Promise ? Le jayogi apne paas mujhe ?

Jhuk gaya aasmaan
Mill gaye do jahaan
Har taraf hai milan ka samaa
Doliya hain saji, khushbuein har kahin

Vansh slept holding Riddhima’s hand tightly in his grip. Just like they used to all the time. Just like he does everyday till now.

One more night closer to you Riddhima, we will be together soon. And no one will be able to separate us then.

With that thought Vansh closed his eyes for the night.
