Well, I guess you already know that account can't be deleted. You can only use Hibernation option if you want...

Your user name will get invisible on all your posts (although the posts will still remain visible). But no one will be able to like or quote your posts, send PMs to you, etc. Basically your account will become closed off for further interactions.

Whenever you feel like coming back, you just have to log in as usual, and your account will be open again. But there will be a minimum of seven days gap after you hibernate, before you can come back.

Also, just a personal suggestion, maybe you can try reducing the hours you spend here instead of leaving altogether 😊. Come when you have time, would be happy to see you around sometimes 😳.

I think one reason for the option not being there may be because some people may change their mind later

but it looks weird being squashed up to the left just to fit in ads...its just on Mac, on Windows it is normal.
