Darmiyaan
The sky was cloudy since morning and it looked like grey clouds were playing in the sky. The sky was dark as if it resembled Riddhima’s heart which was full of pain, After all she had lost the one she loved the most! He was the one who stood by her even when she didn’t believe him, he was the one who took care of her when she was deceiving him! Alas! Only If She got to know the truth before! Nothing like this wouldn’t have happened! He would’ve been with her today- She cursed her fate!As she thought about him tears fell upon her cheeks on their own!
“VANSH” she let out a sigh calling him, hoping if he could really return to her some day!
“What happened Sweetheart?” She heard! Yes, it was his voice, she looked towards the direction where the sound was coming from! And She saw him, exactly the same face, the same height also the same deep eyes!
He had the Same intense gaze which were ready to burn her inside yet again! But she knew he wasn’t her Vansh. He was Vihaan, Vansh’s lookalike whom she had brought in this house to destroy the evil mom-son duo who took away her everything from her!!
She carefully looked at him, keenly noticing that He indeed looked like Vansh, or she should say “Exactly” looked like Vansh! There wasn’t any difference except the beard And Her heart was telling her there is possibility of him being her Vansh, Her Vansh Can’t die this soon!! But Being The Wife of Mr Vansh RaiSinghania, this time She thought to listen to her brain which was telling her to believe what she saw that day in that cliff. How Vansh fell from there and As she Remembered the incident she immediately closed her eyes, wanting to forget the incident which made her lose him! Meanwhile Her Tears, they seemed to be in no mood to stop this soon!
There HE was standing in a corner of the room watching her from a distance, looking at her actions, her expressions! But as soon as he saw her crying, he came to hold her. Thinking to become her support but as He held her hand she immediately jerked his hands off and stood away from him! He was shocked or maybe not- it wasn’t clear from his expressions. He looked at her straight into her eyes. She was also looking at him! She felt His gaze were piercing her heart reminding her of Vansh!
Riddhima- How dare you to touch me? Mana kiya tha na maine?
Vihaan- Relax Riddhima. Main to sirf...
Riddhima- Main to sirf kya, haan? Tumhe laga akeli ladki ro rahi hai and you will take chance by consoling her? (She saw his face being straight hearing her words but she was in no mood to stop) And how dare you call me Sweetheart? Only my Vansh had the right to call me that. Don’t forget that you are just acting to be Vansh. So don’t u ever think yourself as my husband, okay!
(She pointed her finger towards him)
Vihaan- But I am your husband, I know I know..only on papers? But still main husband toh hoon tumhara! Am I Right Or Am I Right? (He raised his eyebrows at her with a mischievous smile)
She looked at other direction unable to think what to say next. And When He saw her being silent, he answered her calmly,
Vihaan- Listen to me, Riddhima. I didn’t mean to do anything like that okay? Mana ki Tum bohut pretty ho, young ho, tempting ho (He was saying all these and coming towards her & Riddhima was going backwards followed by his steps)
Vihaan- Lekin tum jaisi bhi ho, tumhari wajase hi toh mujhe paise mil rahe hai, right? So, Tumhare saath aisa karke main kyun apne hi pair mein kuladi marunga?
He stopped for a moment and suddenly He bowed towards her, Said in a slow husky voice,
“Tum bohot important ho mere liye”
(He winked at her)
She was taken aback! She didn’t expect him to say any sort of thing to her specially coming at such close distance between them and she was surprised why she didn’t push him like she always pushes Kabir whenever he tries to come close to her! Why being with Vihaan felt so different?
Vihaan- Kya hua Mrs RaiSinghania, kaha kho gayi aap? I know I’m very handsome, extremely charming and of course hott (He showed off by brushing his hair) But that doesn’t mean you have the permission to get lost into me. My password is very tough to crack u know!
(He smirked)
And Riddhima realised she had been staring at him quite a long time while thinking and after realising she felt very awkward so she avoided eye contact with him!
Riddhima- Just Shut up, okay? Aisa kuch nahi hai. Main to bas kuch soch rahi thi.
Vihaan- Itne der mere baremein soch rahe thi tum?? Wow,, I’m soo lucky (He put his right hand on his heart and closed his eyes with a smile)
Riddhima didn’t fail to notice the small cute dimple appearing on his right cheek as soon as he smiled! She didn’t know what happened to her but she couldn’t stop her desire of putting her finger into that dimple! Her mind was stopping her from doing so but her hands went against her and finally she touched his cheek as her finger went into the dept of his dimple!
As soon as He felt her soft touch against his skin his eyes automatically opened! He opened his eyes only to look at a smiling Riddhima looking at her hands on his dimple! He was surprised, He couldn’t not even imagine She could do anything like this! But he couldn’t deny how much he liked her doing it! How much he liked her touch! He wish he could explain her! If there was anyone except Riddhima he wouldn’t have ever let anyone touch his dimple but with Riddhima, the case is different, She is different for him than any other person he knows!
As he was thinking all this, Riddhima realised what she was doing and took away her hand in a jolt! She felt so embarrassed to say anything to him or to explain her deed! All she wanted was to leave from here as soon as possible! As she was leaving her hurriedly, she lost her balance through her heels and was about to slip but He reached at the main time and held her in his arms. She looked up to him deep into his eyes, his intense gaze unknowingly made her heart skip a beat!
“Lafzon se jo tha pare
Khaalipan ko jo bhare
Kuch toh tha tere mere darmiyaan
Rishte ko kya mod dun
Naata yeh ab tod dun
Yaa fir yun hi chhod dun darmiyaan”
Why was she feeling similar around him what she used to feel for Vansh? Why all the feelings were being repeated around this guy who is none but just a lookalike of her husband! Questions were popping in her mind and her heart was clueless. She wanted answers but unable to join the dots!
“Benaam rishta wo
Bechain karta jo
Ho na sake jo bayaan
Darmiyaan”
On the other hand, He gently put her on the ground. She was steel, frozen- unable to move or to say anything in the moment. He slowly put his mouth close to her ears and whispered,
“Sooo Ro-Man-Tic, Sweetheart”
His warm lips were almost brushing against her ear, she felt shiver run down her spine finding him this close. Yet she was numb. She still didn’t feel it was wrong, rather everything seemed alright to her as if he was meant to do this, he was meant to come close to her- She felt unknowingly to herself!
As His words hit through her brain, Founding the dialogue familiar, Riddhima looked up to him and found him smiling mischievously! He exactly resembled her Vansh, her heart was screaming to her! Before she could say anything, He left from there while leaving a question roaming around her mind! But it seemed like he was in no mood to answer it now.
“Aankho mein tere saaye
Chahu toh ho na paye
Yaadon se teri faasla
Jaake bhi tu na jaye
Thehra tu dil me haye
Hasrat sa banke kyu bhala
Kyun yaad karti hu, mitti hu banti hu
Mujhko tu laaya ye kahaa?

Riddhima was trying to join the dots, there was something that she isn’t able to understand, but what is that?? While He was almost out of her sight, a thought came in her mind! And Riddhima’s heartbeats raised, Her lips got curled up and her mouth automatically whispered,
“VANSH??”
