Kunal is surprised even nanu knew about the surgery to which nanu says he keeps tabs on everyone (except Meenu, wish he eavesdropped on Meenu everyday and heard her evil plans) đ¤
Kunal apologized to Abir and said he doesnât like Chashmish people. Nanu takes offense and says he himself wearing glasses for 50 years and heâs as attractive as he was 50 years ago.đ (Abir got his self praising habit from nanu đ)
Kunal agrees nanu is still hot and happening but heâs talking about his future wife. He says sorry again to Abir for his rudeness, says Abir wanted him to marry Mishti and move on in life. Abir agrees he started all this (okay he finally admitted it) Kunal says to let him handle matters now.
Abir says Mishti is unwilling to do surgery, Kunal tells him then Mish would have refused, she always speaks her mind like she asked for courtship and got it, she wanted to do a job and did it.
Kunal leaves and nanu tells Abir they both are the biggest fools, theyâre getting Mishnal married who are totally wrong for each other! Nice editing of scenes here, Koshlu telling Nidhi Mishnal horoscopes are perfectly matching!
Ketu gives pearl necklace box to Meenu who looks satisfied with it. Nidhi admires the necklace, says it looks really expensive and Meenu gave Shweta much lighter jewelry last year. Koshlu tells her not to mention that name on this auspicious day. Meenu says Mishnal GD is more important than the previous occasion and she will personally go to mah house to give the necklace to Mishti. She asks Parul to get it blessed by Kanha ji.
Nidhi asks Meenu what about all previous GD jewelry kept in a jar in the kitchen. Meenu makes Nidhi get the jar and throws all jewelry on the table, tells Nidhi to donate them to poor people at the temple. A photo falls out of the jar but Meenu hides it. Mami calls herself poor and asks if she can keep some of the jewelry. đ Mamu suggests to sell the jewelry and give the money to Abirâs NGO but Meenu nixes all suggestions and says no family member should use these unlucky jewelry. Nidhi has to comply with her orders unwillingly.
When everyone leaves Meenu retrieved the photo and puts it in the jewelry box. ( that girlâs hair or height didnât look like Shwetaâs)
Mishti at doctorâs office holds her glasses remembers Abir gifting them, his words about suicide bomb and her harsh words to him. (Lovely BGM here) She wants to call Abir but frets that he doesnât have a phone (what about RJV house phone?)
Abir in his room, nanu urges him to call Mishti, Abir says he felt Mishti didnât want the surgery thatâs why he interfered. But her reply was out of character. He felt this wasnât the same Mishti who fought the world to save Ketu twice (?) who snatched the money from her dad that he got from blackmailing BM, this is not the Mishti he fell in love with.
Abir admits heâs weak, he wants to look for his dad but lacks courage to do so, but Mishti is not like him, she knows right from wrong, Abir wants to do the right thing, but Mishti does whatâs right! Whether itâs the courtship or Ketuâs future Mishti always takes a stand. However brave and strong a girl is the society and family tries to snatch her individuality. (Thatâs what Abir also did after marriage)
Abir says we expect a girl to fulfill only certain roles, a good wife, bahu, daughter! Mishtiâs individuality, her POV are being snatched from her!
Mish hears someone come into the doctorâs office, thinks itâs Abir but itâs Kunal, she tells him she shouldnât have talked to Abir so rudely, she was wrong. Kunal agrees then asks her if sheâs willing to get this surgery done? Without waiting for her reply he says HE wants her to get it done. He does whatever his family (actually his mom) wants but he wishes there was someone who fulfilled his wishes. (Matlab full on emotional blackmail and arm twisting to make Mishti agree) đľ
Kunal tells Mish she will look better without glasses, she asks doesnât he like her with glasses? Does he feel strange going out with her? Will he feel embarrassed hanging out with a bespectacled wife?
Doctor comes and calls her for surgery. Kunal tells Mishti sheâs overreacting itâs not a big feal
He gets a phone call from Parul and leaves, doctor tells Mish Kunal had to leave for some reason and theyâre ready for her surgery. Mishti in a quandary.
Nanu tells Abir no use hiding his face, he knows whatâs going on in his mind. Abir says he talked rudely to Mishti, nanu says Abir got angry that she agreed to the surgery and reason for that was his love for her, when you love someone you want them to be the way they are, if someone wants to change them, you try to save them, thatâs what Abir was doing.â¤ď¸
Abir says but he loves Kunal too so what heâs doing is wrong. Nanu says love is never wrong but time may be wrong, yet times can change and we can set things right. Nanu says now that Abir knows Mishti Kunal are not the right match if he doesnât act now this familyâs happiness will be destroyed alongwith the lives of all three of them. Does Abir want that?Kunal returns home, asks Parul why she summoned him, she tells theyâre taking GD gifts to mah house. Kunal gets angry at Parul, he tells Meenu he was with Mish getting her laser surgery done, Nidhi hears that and thinks Mishti has some disease so has to get surgery, she looks so skinny! Meenu explains to her this surgery is to do away with glasses.
Kunal tells Meenu he asked Mishti to get it done as he thinks she would look better without glasses, Meenu agrees that glasses donât suit youngsters, they look 10 years older.đł Meenu thinks heâs done half the job now she will do the rest. Kunal says surgery must be over by now. Meenu suggests they pick up Mish from the hospital on the way to mah house to give those gifts. Parul apologizes to Kunal for calling him, he tells her the surgery is very important for him and he didnât want mishti to say no at the last moment đˇ
Abir overheard and looks sad
Mish without glasses looks at her reflection, was she trying to see how she looks without glasses? Abir feels disturbed how could she agree to the surgery? He tries to call Mishti
Mishti calls Kunal who asks if everything went well, she says everything is as it should be (Niice) Both say they need to talk to each other. Nidhi asks Kunal not to tell Mishti about them going to her house to give GD gifts. Kunal tells Mish he is coming to pick her up. She says no need as she can get auto.
Mish takes out her glasses and looks sad. Abir says Mishti should not change herself for anyone, the girl he loves cannot be bullied by society and traditions, she knows to fight for her rights, she can oppose anyone for her identity. Right here was some great editing again, Abir closed his eyes, she opened hers and put on her glasses. She didnât get the surgery đĽł
Abir calls the hospital and tries to find out about Mishti but nurse refuses to give any info, just says she was discharged. Nanu suggests to Abir they should also go to mah house
RJVs arrive at Maheshwari house, Meenu apologizes for coming with such short notice, Rajshri greets her with usual pleasantries.
Kuhu says Mishti isnât at home, Varsha says sheâs with Kunal. Meenu tells them Kunal is waiting outside for Mishti. BM is surprised as Mish went to meet him, Nidhi says Kunal took Mishti for surgery.
BM shocked and panics what surgery, is Mishti alright? Meenu explains that Kunal took Mishti for a minor eye surgery so she can get rid of her glasses.
Kuhu surprised that Mishti agreed to surgery, Jas happily says thatâs great as girls look like teachers with glasses (whatâs bad about that!!)đ¤
Meenu tells them not to get upset, Mishti will look more beautiful without glasses. BM says to a mother her child is always beautiful, what matters is the child is happy the way they are â¤ď¸
Varsha takes Kuhu aside and asks if Mishti told her about her surgery? Kuhu said Mishti did call to ask how she would look without glasses but Kuhu didnât take her question seriously.
Mishti enters mah house gate remembering how she first got glasses and didnât want to wear them as she thought she would look strange and others would laugh at her. Then BP had said he also wears glasses does he look strange? Mishti was worried people already taunt about her father now they will mock her calling her Chashmish. BM had asked whose words were more important to her, other peopleâs or BMâs? BM told young Mishti people will envy her pretty glasses and when they see BP and Mish both wearing glasses they will know at once theyâre father and daughter! đ¤Mish asks what if nobody wanted to befriend her because of her glasses, BP said that would be their loss! Such a cute way to convince a child to wear glasses!â¤ď¸
Mish thinks she wonât change herself for anyone. She sees Kunal in her driveway and walks towards him but she trips and her glasses fall. Kunal picks her up asks if sheâs alright and why didnât the doctor give her sunglasses post surgery? Mish tried to tell him she didnât do the surgery but he doesnât listen. (Both brothers have a bad habit of cutting off her words)đ
He takes her inside without letting her say anything, she looks back sadly at her glasses lying on the driveway.

Kunal has become pro at emotional blackmailing like meenu. Actually even abir was a pro at this which we saw when he left RV house with kunal during the magazine track
