I'm actually glad abir didn't share his feelings in this episode, it would've made things even worse. I'm happy that mishti realized kunal isn't right for her on her own and later slowly realized that she likes abir

If Abir actually blurted out his feelings in this episode Mishti would be the most shocked person! She thought of him as her friend then and had never seen him in that light. She was even having dream sequences about Kunal courting her. I think in her mind she had kind of accepted Kunal as her fiancé at least.

Bold: that slow buildup of Mishti’s feelings for Abir was the best part. She didn’t rush into love.

Devyani is back..the more they show her talking to BM on the phone, the more upset I get at the PH for not including her in mishbir's wedding

RV family members are planning for kunal's GD: loved it when mami said kunal would've even sent abir to do the GD on his behalf..since abir has been giving proxy for kunal in the courtship, he might as well do that too

Mishti recalled all the sweet things kunal (actually abir) has done for her as Varsha shares her own experiences with love. Poor girl will be so heartbroken

How did nanu overhear kunal's phone convo about fixing mishti's eye surgery appointment? He was standing quiet far from kunal 😲

I'm so pissed at kunal for not asking mishti even once before bringing her in for the surgery. He still had the audacity to tell abir that why didn't mishti just say "no". Dude you put her on the spot..now she can't just say no, and even if she wants to say no, you aren't even letting her speak 😡

Nanu and everyone rjv preparing for mishnal GD. Nanu was trying to invoke abir's hidden feelings and his denial about his feelings for mishti 😳

Mish writing in her diary about her curiosity about engagemene and love (how could someone look so adorable in night dress too) 😳 Mish-varsha convo (so varsha could be bearable in some episodes). Loved how she helped mish to see how one realizes they are in love ⭐️ mish remembered everything that kunal supposedly did for her (which in fact abir did)

Episode 48

Meenu’s lethal expressions when she hugs Mishti and congratulated her 😆

All Mah ladies are hugging Mishti and congratulating her, BM looks delighted, Mishti thinks BM is so happy that tilak is decided, she wishes she had more time to understand Kunal more.
Kuhu hugs Meenu and drops the newspaper, Meenu looks hopeful that Kuhu will see Naman’s photo but Kuhu is wiping her tears so doesn’t see it. Kunal gets a message, excuses himself and leaves. Mishti asks BM if she’s happy, BM tells her she always made her happy and goes to give good news to BP

Meenu tells Rajshri she will call when GD date is fixed. Why is BM being extra grateful and obsequious to Meenu for agreeing to GD? Is she doing a favor to Mishti? Really hate this kind of mentality! 🤢

Meenu’s reply sounds ominous, Mahs don’t know what happiness Meenu is going to give them! On GD day they wouldn’t know whether to smile or cry. 😈Mahs are surprised at Meenu’s strange words, Parul quickly amends that she means Mahs will be sad to see their daughter become RJV bahu but happy to see the love she gets there, as Mishti will be the first bahu there in RJV

Abir leaving mah house, Mishti calls out Suno ❤️

She catches up with him and scolds him for not stopping. She trips and her glasses fall but Abir neatly catches them. Abir rebukes her for wearing those broken glasses all day. He jokes there are songs on kala chashma but not on broken ones. 😆
Mishti thinks he’s written song on broken glasses. Abir says he’s not that creative and takes out a new pair of glasses for her. She gets emotional, he jokes why is she reacting as if he gave her his mom’s bangles? Mishti says from the morning so much is happening in her life, first those gossip aunties then her GD getting fixed, everyone knew her glasses were broken but nobody paid attention.😭

Mishti is so moved with his special gift! Abir tells her she’s reacting as if he donated his eyes to her. 😆
Abir puts the glasses on her, she thanks him profusely. Cutest Mishbir scene, felt sorry for Mishti that no one in her family cared enough to get her new glasses.

Abir asked if glasses are alright, she said yes then asked how did he know her prescription details? Abir says he got her eye doctor’s number from Shaurya uncle.

So Abir had already got the glasses for her earlier that morning or there was a time lapse between Abir leaving mah house and Mishti coming after him? Wow that was fast! 😲

Mishti thanks Abir again for helping her decide about the GD. Abir realizes his part in it. He asks Mishti if she’s happy, she gets silent, thinking about how she’s feeling. Finally she says yes she’s happy Abir says he’s happy in her happiness.

On the other hand Kunal is calling the eye surgeon and made appointment for Mishti’s laser surgery for the next day

Meenu at home telling her family that GD is in 2 days. Ketu congratulates Kunal, Nidhi worries how will they do all shopping in 2 days and also excited about getting a facial right away asks Koshlu for his credit card. Parul wonders how come Benba is happy with this GD?

Kunal asks Meenu if she’s mad at him for saying yes to GD without her permission. Meenu says he must have a good reason to do so since this is the first time he didn’t ask her before making a decision.
Kunal tells her because of newspaper nonsense Mishti’s family were getting taunts, their neighbors words were disgusting. Meenu also doesn’t like this courtship so he thought he should take the next step. Meenu says he took the correct decision. She tells Kunal to inform maheshwaris that GD will take place after two days

Meenu tells Parul to make preparations for the GD as Kunal has made up his mind.

Mishti calls Naira, panicked that her GD is fixed and she feels her life is in full gear racing ahead feels like a ...Naira says roller coaster?

Mishti asks how did she know? Naira says life is like that, not like her cycle which moves only when she pedals but like a futuristic car made by a mad scientist, which changes gears and speed by itself. You just have to wear seatbelt and sit at the window seat watching where it goes. Naira tells her to calm down take a deep breath and tell what she’s thinking.

Abir telling himself he’s fine and feeling great goes to his room and is shocked to see his secret painting and all photos of Mishti on full display. He panics wondering who put them up he calls Jugnu. Nanu comes out with a knowing smile and says how did he like the display?

Mishti tells Naira she’s neither feeling happy nor sad, she’s not feeling excited like other girls do when their marriage is fixed. Naira asks her how did you feel the day this proposal came for you? Mishti remembers the Rishta switch by Meenu and says she got everything without asking for it. Naira tells her then everyone thinks you’re the luckiest girl as you got everything without trying, good family, good groom, premarital courtship.
But Naira thinks Mishti is the girl who doesn’t have the option of saying No because others have said yes on her behalf. Naira really put her finger on the dot! 👏That’s exactly Mishti’s situation and the reason of her feeling helpless and confused.

Naira says Jas aunty must be saying the adopted girl got such a good Rishta without efforts, what else does a girl want? Mishti says calmness of mind, trust, Naira adds Love! Mishti asks if love happens at first sight. Naira says love is different for everyone but it does happen. Does Mishti think she can ever love Abir? 😳Mishti is shocked! Naira corrects it to Kunal does she think she can ever love Kunal?

Abir being defensive says as nanu did this he’s not involved. Nanu says he’s definitely done this that’s why all these Mishti mementos are there. Nanu asks isn’t this the painting the one he saved from the fire? And all these photos of her? Abir tries to divert by telling nanu what a great idea he had, after Kunal’s GD he can do another exhibition of these surviving paintings and photos then he can make recovery.
Abir takes out some more photos from a box and says he can use those too. Nanu rebukes him to stop it, he didn’t put up those pics for an exhibition. Abir pleads with nanu that Mishnal Rishta is fixed now and if Meenu saw those pics there will be more drama!
Nanu asks what’s the truth? Abir says there was a fire, a lot got burned, a few embers left soon they will die out. Either they can cry for what they lost or celebrate what’s coming up so nanu should prepare for Kunal’s GD

Abir tells nanu he always says whatever is lost was never ours so he will do another exhibition with these pics and then nobody will suffer losses. Nanu tells him he’s not Kunal to learn profit loss, Abir escapes, Nanu says Abir is lying to himself, nanu swears to make Abir confess his feelings before the GD

Nidhi comes into Meenu’s room and sees all the jewelry spread out on the bed. She picks up a pearl string and all the pearls fall from it and roll to Meenu’s feet. Meenu looks grim, Nidhi swears on everyone that she didn’t break it. Meenu says it’s fine, she got those pearls from Australia planning to make a necklace for Kunal’s wife. Meenu planning something devious as she holds the pearls and says she will get a really beautiful necklace made out of them. 😈

Kuhu looking at Kunal’s photos, remembering the first time she saw him in the sports car, she liked him at first sight, then his Rishta came she was very happy but Mishti always snatched everything Kuhu likes, her toys in childhood and now she snatched her Rishta too. Kuhu tried to move on, Kunal was nice to her, let her do the job, gave her a gift, she thought Kunal would realize after courtship that there was no vibe between him and Mishti but Kunal agreed to the GD like an idiot!

Mishti observing Kuhu from balcony wonders what’s Kuhu doing in the garden. Kuhu curses kunal and his GD, she takes off the bracelet gifted by him and throws it away. Mishti wonders what did Kuhu throw out? Kuhu says she’s better than Mishti in looks attitude personality😔 (I don’t think so) but why doesn’t Kunal see it? Mishti always topped in class now in life too. She always remained a loser. Kunal chose Mishti that proves his low IQ, she doesn’t even want a dumb guy like that, she will get the bestest guy. Sour grapes, Kuhu?

Mishti comes down to see what’s wrong with Kuhu? She finds the bracelet on a shrub and says why did Kuhu throw it there?

Kunal and his thoughts about a spectacled wife really shocked me too How could he even think like that? In 2020 (or 2019)!

the scene where mish told abir off was so impactful. could relate both of their emotions 👍🏼

Episode 49 part one

Rajshri calls Devyani and tells her Mishti’s Rishta is fixed. Devyani is delighted says daughters grow up so fast. Rajshri says yes and grow up beautiful too that’s why her Rishta fixed with such a worthy boy.

Devyani says she had a necklace made for Mishti she will send it through someone. BM says she should come herself to the wedding. Devyani says she will try

Varsha asks BM both Tilak and GD will be done right following Marwari and Gujarati rituals? BM agrees, Varsha worried if Meenu will be displeased if Mishti wears old jewelry at GD. Mishti comes and says she won’t mind, because family emotions are linked to those jewelry. Emotional scene of BM Mishti

BP reminisced when Akshara’s first Rishta broke family was so upset but then they got Naitik as her husband. God brings together pairs destined for each other.

BM agrees and says like Kunal Mishti came together. Now both will live happily ever after! Mishti thinks about Naira’s words if she will be able to love Kunal

At RJV family is rehearsing for Kunal’s GD. Nanu says the dialogues before O O Jane Jana, 😆 everyone laughing, Mamu reminds nanu about announcement, Nanu says they have to plan for Kunal’s GD. Abir gets upset and tries to leave, Nanu prevents his exit (copying Dev Anand’s Nai nai nai)😆 drags Abir back and says they have to select songs for GD performances. The rest all argue over the songs, nanu says Abir is the expert in music poetry and romance!

Kunal agreed and says Abir should plan and perform too, Atul says yeah so Kunal wouldn’t have to do anything then. Nidhi says if Kunal had his way he would get Mishti engaged to Abir. Nanu and Abir look at each other in shock that Abir’s secret feelings expressed by Nidhi.

Abir recovers and says he’s a free bird and GD is like shackles meant for innocent boys like Kunal. Abir doesn’t fall in love himself, he makes others come together.😔

Nanu demands Abir should recite a shayari for Mishnal on their GD, after all they came together because of him! Kunal is his brother and Mishti his friend he should do this for them! Everyone else agrees, Abir finally agrees to write a poem for Mishnal as he can do anything for his family. Nanu thinks he is determined to change Abir’s mind to confessing.👍🏼

Mishti awake at night writing her diary thinking about what Naira said about the existence of hope of falling in love. Varsha comes and asks if she cannot sleep out of excitement of Tilak.

She will get dark circles under eyes if she doesn’t sleep. Both laugh at Kuhu reference. Varsha asks Mishti if she’s feeling nervous Mishti asks Varsha if she also felt nervous inspite of hers being a love marriage? Varsha says she was very nervous, marriage isn’t just union of 2 people, it’s 2 families joining as well and the girl has to leave behind her own family but she knew she would get love in her new family because Shaurya was there.
Mishti asks her did she fall in love with Shaurya uncle at first sight? Varsha says it doesn’t happen at once but slowly with time, from little things she understood she loved him.

Interesting take on love at first sight (Abir) and love that is gradually realized over time(Mishti)

Varsha says shaurya knew what kind of flowers she liked, how to cheer her up, to be always there in tough situations, to soften the blow of harsh words with sweetness. Mishti remembers all those things Kunal did for her (actually Abir did)

Varsha tells Mish she won’t realize all at once but when these things happen your heart will tell you. She will realize she loves him when he does what you really want.

Nice heart to heart conversation between Varsha and Mishti but poor girl is now confusing her reactions to Kunal’s actions with love?

Kunal calls Mishti and asks her to come to Park Avenue next morning at 10 am, Nanu overheard Kunal who calls Uma Patel next and asks her to call doctor to confirm Mishti’s eye surgery next day at 10

Mishti thinking how Kunal takes care of her likes and dislikes but she’s still doubtful if her decision was correct

Next morning, Abir exercises and thinks that he cannot come between Mishti and Kunal, it’s too late for him, Mishnal will be happy together he cannot snatch their happiness 🤔

Meenu playing sitar thinking angrily about Mishti all the trouble she’s caused for Meenu’s plans and Kunal agreeing to GD

Nanu comes to Abir and pretends his left arm is hurting, Abir holds him and takes him to the doctor right away.

Meenu calls someone and fixes a meeting, then calls jeweler telling him to make a pearl necklace

Thats what I was wondering too, what reason did she give in the show? like she wasn't ill or hospitalized neither were any of singhanias for her to be absent and they weren't in another country too. so why was she not able to make it?

Yup, she looked adorable in almost everything. or rather most simplest of the things. 😳 that's why whenever kuhu mocked her looks, those dialogues sounded mockworthy 😆

Epi 49 part 2 - Mish thinking about all the moments with kunal and wondering if she could actually love kunal like varsha said (poor girl, she was being played so badly) just then kunal called and asked her to meet at park avenue next morning kunal called uma patel to confirm doc's appointment for lasik, and nanu overheard that

abir thinking he cant come between mishnal as its too late now

kunal brings her for eye surgery blindfolding her and she is shocked 😭 Kunal was seriously so narrow minded, he thought a chashmish wife would not look good with him 😡

Nanu's plans succeeding as abir comes and confronts mishnal. And kunal thought mish called him there (she didnt even know you were taking her to hospital you duffad 😡) and mish got irritated and asks abir its none of his business. 🥺

Nanu finally makes abir confess abir loves mishti😎
