and if poora plot is fictional why can't they just keep Aniruddh and Bondita in 21st century and say this is a fictional plot where child marriages happen in 2020 as widespread as it used to happen in reality a century back? They didn't, and they chose pre independent era because that was the true situation of that era! Its not fictional! So they need to keep up the to the real facts too.

They PRINTED a whole damn newspaper just for the show which clearly mentioned the year. That's how shows indicate timelines, they just don't declare, this year is 2020 or something. And now if they flip on the timeline, its a bigger blunder as it shows they skips years just according to their whims and fancies.

And they are showing wrong facts besides the timeline factor too.

And no, British didn't appreciate Gandhi or anyone for a matter of fact, who wanted India to actually develop. INC was found by a group of people which considered Britishers and later in 1920s Mahatma Gandhi took lead in INC to start Independent struggles and more.

And The last fact you said in no way justifies the buffoonery of Indian History the makers have made.

it may not matter to some of you that how they are butchering the history of our own country but it matters to some people , it may not be pricking them being people who cannot care less about the history of their country, but they need to understand there are people who do care about it and people for whom it matters.
