It could be that the real Markaat is a positive character and is actually Garuda himself or he is also negative only. Jay and his mother who is the fake Markaat were having a conversation of how they were fooling the cheels all these years, I guess since Satyug itself.

Today they were trying to hint that Meera is the fake Markaat but I doubt it, hundred percent it’s Veer’s mom, that is if she is really his birth mother. If she is his real mom then that would make all four, Veer, Teer, Tapish and Jay brothers.

I was thinking the same that Veer's mom is Markat specially after she was outside the house. Looked like she was just acting.

Even I asking the same. And why is Veer only a cheel if Markat is his mother. Or probably the child can take only one roop. Either a naag or a cheel.

No remember the weird moments of meera they were showing more so after jay was asking fake markat about her having powers that can control people and fake markat confirmed that they can control people.... fake markat has used their powers on meera to control her and use her as a pawn... that's why meera is suddenly acting all weird.

Taikhana amma (which is an awesome name btw lmao) can easily have been pretending that she was confined with chains and could not open them. Remember jay too pretended the same when being tied with ropes in beginning of mayuri track? This half snake-half cheel jeev is exceptionally powerful apparently, so they could have powers or strength to release themselves from chains when hey want.
