Episode 31

Meenu’s flashback 😆

Either she has dementia and forgot the correct sequence of events or she thinks the false narrative she’s been telling Abir all these years is actually true. Though it might have happened that she did leave Mehul in the village to come take over the business reins from ailing nanu since Mamu was useless. But where did Parul come in her flashback? Parul was wearing sindoor too ?? 😕

Anyway rewatching the episodes is revealing more huge holes in screenplay. The direction and performances made us forgive all these discrepancies

Parul reassures Meenu that everyone will realize one day that it’s Meenu who holds the family together. Yeah Right! 🤡

Mrs Parekh sees Mishti cycle past her car and tells driver to follow her wondering where Mish was going so late at night.

Mishti goes to Abir’s lakeside tent and apologizes for what happened that day. Mishti says Kunal must be shocked at her actions and BM made her realize her methods were wrong. Getting no response she peeps into the tent and sees it’s empty

Parul doing Nanu’s seva, he asks how long will she serve this household, she says as long as she can. Parul tries to argue in Meenu’s favor that how could she send back the baraat without evidence, then everyone would blame her. Meenu does everything for the family! Yeah Right! 🤪
Then she would have tried to find out Ved’s truth instead of letting the wedding go on as scheduled 🤔

Kunal comes and gets angry to see Parul with nanu, he tells her to leave. Parul apologizes and says don’t take out your anger on your mother, Kunal snubs her that she’s my mom, it’s our family matter you don’t have to interfere

Mami is burning Ketu’s wedding sari in the courtyard, Mamu tries to stop her saying Meenu will see her, Nidhi says I’m not afraid of BB today,👏 she chose the wrong boy and now my Ketu has to suffer. She’s burning all memories of that wrong Rishta. When she burned the original sari she was so upset that she’s committed a grave sin but didn’t realize it was a signal from God. Mami is inconsolable Mamu tries to comfort her but she’s really mad as all her dreams of Ketu wedding are destroyed

Mami curses Meenu that the girl she’s chosen for Kunal will go against her and will do something which Meenu cannot control! Then Meenu will realize you cannot control your kid’s lives.

Mami ke mooh mein ghee Shakkar, her curse worked out well 👍🏼

Abir feeling sad by the lake remembering his dad, he wishes Baba hadn’t left him. Flashback of little Abir (so cute) begging his dad not to go 😭

Abir’s shayari it’s time for vagabonds to return home. Abir wonders if mom told him the truth and why didn’t his father return home for him?

Mishti puts her hand on his shoulder in sympathy he turns and hugs her. Mrs Parekh sees a guy hugging Mish but cannot see Abir’s face and she leaves.

Abir apologizes to Mishti, she says it’s natural to be upset after what happened at Ketu’s wedding. Abir lightens the mood by saying he feels like a celebrity because of Mish who’s stalking him, she says this is not stalking but concern for a friend, he won’t understand as he’s weird. She asks him how he’s feeling, he says amazing awesome, Mishti asks about Kunal Abir says Kunal hides his feelings but not from him, and he’s affected deeply

Mish says she tried to call Kunal but he was unreachable. Abir says when destiny wants two people to be together it seeks ways to make them meet 😳

Mishbir have a moment thinking about what he said probably remembering all the times they’ve met by chance? Or was it destiny?

Abir tells her she should go home and it’s not right for her to come out so late without telling anyone. Mish asks how did he know that? Abir says if they knew you wouldn’t be allowed 😆

Mish tells him it’s all his fault he doesn’t carry a phone how would she call him? She calls him cute and he calls her violent angry chorni 😆

She laughs, happy to see him jovial and hopes everyone in his family would smile again. Abir says everyone will except his mom Big Ben who never smiled. Mishti calls him impossible he called her amazing for what she did for Ketu whom she hardly knew.
Mishti drops a gem, it doesn’t matter how old the friendship is but how deep it is. ❤️Abir is impressed with her deep thoughts and says she’s learning fast being with him.😆

Mrs Parekh marches into mah house (don’t they ever lock their doors?) and blasts that everyone is sleeping peacefully after destroying her family’s peace. Varsha tells her it’s your fault that you didn’t listen to your son, if he liked another girl you should have supported him, then he wouldn’t have married one girl in the morning then gone ahead to marry another girl in the evening.

Mrs P mocks them and says they should ask their daughter whose Rishta they fixed with Kunal but she’s singing love songs with someone else. Lol when did she see Mishbir sing love songs? 😆

Mrs P says it’s not the daughter who was rejected but ask where your adopted daughter is and with whom?

BM is shocked says Mish is in her room, Mrs P challenges her to call Mish , BM tells Kuhu to call Mish Kuhu signals she’s not there

Mrs P says you all have no idea where your daughter is at midnight. Shaurya says we will take care of our daughters you don’t have to worry. Mrs P says it’s easy to lecture others kids when your own kids upbringing is wrong

BP politely asks Mrs P to leave saying it’s been a tough day for everyone, she should go home and rest and think of the girl whom her son has accepted as wife before God. As for our upbringing we know how to accept our mistakes and rectify them. Mrs P leaves, BM asks Kuhu where is Mishti Kuhu denies knowing, BP looks disturbed

Mishbir on the road decide to have a cycle race, Abir races past her saying chor are not as fast as banjaras. Mishti let’s him win and says SRK Baazigar dialogue

They reach Mah house gate, Mishti thanks him for escorting her home, he thanked her for her friendship and says thanking her for what she did for Ketu is not enough, Mishti tells him to take a monthly pass for saying thanks to her, repeating his dialogue to him.😆

Mish tells him to take care of Ketu as girls are not allowed to get over these things as easily as boys. Abir leaving again stops and again Suno, he says one race is pending as she lost deliberately today. Mishti tells him today’s race was friendship discount, when someone gives then accept it

Abir thanks her, they clasp hands sealing their friendship! BP observes them from the door shocked.

I really enjoyed Nidhi raging about Meenu, Mamu is such a wimp he kept on silencing her but Nidhi had every right to blast Meenu!

Back then Parul even helped Meenu carry out her dirty plans. She first went against Meenu when Kunal escaped from his wedding and went into hiding as planned by Meenu.

why would we stop after confession epi? 😲 there is so much interesting stuff after that, mishbir mumbai trip, their karva chauth epi, my fav breakup track 😈 and post marriage romance (in whatever amount) but yeah, we should defo continue beyond confession too. 31st dec is just a first target 😃

But Meenu was villain from first episode itself ! Remember how scared Ketu was of Fui and how Meenu manipulated Ketu and others (except Abir) to make them all agree to do the Goddhana that day?

Yeah maybe they meant to show Meenu left her husband to take care of mayka so Abir’s papa left her. At least that’s the story Abir had been told from childhood

Meenu only knows why she didn’t tell Abir about Mehul’s fraud even after he returned in their life and tried to separate Abir from the family. It doesn’t make sense, she let Abir believe Mehul abandoned him but couldn’t tell a grown up son that his dad was a criminal and a fraud? CVs probably decided to make Mehul negative later on.

yeah thats right, meenu was the resident villain from 1st episode. I wish she wasn't. anyhow.

And yes, i also think they decided to make mehul as a negative character much later.

There are 2 dialogues of hers which confirm she didnt do it on purpose. First, when she saw mishbir almost got hurt, she says "oh god, how did this girl come here?" and second one towards the end of the epi in her monologue, she says "Hey Ambe Ma, I never wanted to hurt mishti. I just dont want her as my daughter in law" so yeah, she didnt try to hurt mish on purpose. 🤔 and now i sound like meenu's lawyer 😆

BP-BM saw mishbir at the gate who were busy chit-chatting in the background but we couldn't hear them. I wish we could hear what mishbir were talking about..don't want to miss a single dialogue between them 😒

When Abir said mishti has already suffered because of her father, BP nodded but he wasn't surprised at all. I thought BP doesn't know that Abir already knows about Naman being mishti's dad. I thought abir reveals that he already knows about Naman when BP-BM tell about this to BB and naanu in a later episode. In fact BP-BM and mishti were surprised to know that abir knows in that episode (sorry if my question confused anyone..even I'm confused 😆)

Shaurya scared everything by saying meenu came to their house but meenu "accidentally" video called mishti soon after..wah kya timing hain 😆

Everyone at RV is worried about meenu and maami says "even after everything she did?" I love you mami for this line 🤣

BB had so much faith in mishti that she'll video call Abinal to tell about meenu: she starts her award-winning performance to convince the family that she's sorry for her actions. Later she says mishti separated her family from her so she has to bring the same family back to her in her internal monologue..what the?

Mishku out on mission find BB on a cycle. I don't get kuhu was paddling the bike instead of mishti when mishti is the better cyclist. I agree with kuhu here that who brings musibat ie BB back in their house

Mishti the sherlock holmes found BB but why did she say BB is in the same mandir where she saw ved? this one is clearly a different mandir, the stairs are way longer in this one

Skipped rest of meenu's drama of rolling down the stairs and fake apology because ain't nobody got time for that (Sorry Manju ). We can watch this BTS interview of the cast instead:

Finally saw the interview. They all looked so different back then no? and i felt rhea was all silent and shy. ritvik was doing most of the talking and shah was so happy to shoot outdoors at that temple 😃

shah said they cant reveal the story much but mish will save meenu. And surprisingly rhe also didnt give spoilers 😆 But she said mish cant see anyone getting hurt so she saves meenu and all of them were rolling eyes? 😆 nice BTS interview though 👍🏼
