Episode 25 first part

Nanu suggests they will finalize Mishnal wedding talks after Ketu’s wedding. BP agrees and asks nanu to make sure everything is done according to everyone’s agreement, he meant Meenu of course.

Mahs leave, Abir joins nanu who says he doesn’t think this rishta will work out as Meenu will never agree to Mishti’s request for courtship.Abir says it’s the responsibility of the youth like nanu to change the mindset of people like Meenu

Abir promises to get Kunal married into mah family. Family eh, not Mishti?😉 If Abir was still unsure about Mishnal match why did he mislead and lie to Mishti about Kunal’s nature? What if truth wasn’t revealed to Mishti by Kunal himself and she ended up marrying him? Abir would be responsible for her and Kunal’s misery and eventual divorce. Mishti should not have forgiven Abir so easily after she cancelled her GD

Good thing nanu gave 1% chance to kismet that the truth came out before Mishnal GD

In the car, BM doesn’t want to let go of such a good match because of Mishti’s condition. Really, Is Kunal the only eligible bachelor in Rajkot? 🤔

BP and BM disagree and argue about Mishti’s responsibility on them and the danger Naman poses to Mishti. She gets upset and asks them not to fight about her. BP makes her promise that henceforth she won’t feel upset or pressured if RJVs or Mahs tell her anything about this Rishta.

BM is so tensed she imagines Naman in front of their car getting run over. She is in extreme panic hallucinating a bleeding Naman lying on the road, her panic attacks baffle mah family. Then she faints and is taken home.

BM was under too much stress from Naman’s blackmailing all these years and finally she saw a light at the end of the tunnel in the form of Kunal’s marriage proposal... but is marrying Mishti off really saving her from all dangers? 😕

I don’t understand BM’s maternal instincts about Mishti here. Cant Naman hurt Mishti after she’s married? Is RJV family more powerful and influential than Mahs to keep Naman in jail forever?

Meenu again berating nanu and Kunal about going to mah house secretly and agreeing to Mishti’s absurd condition.

When Abir reminds her to let it remain a happy occasion of Ketu’s haldi Meenu says okay you all celebrate and she leaves the table. She really won’t let the family even eat in peace! 😡

Kunal rushes to placate his mom and says they haven’t yet agreed to marital courtship.

Meenu is unrelenting as she’s losing control over Kunal, she’s still pissed off that they did all this behind her back

She accuses Abir of pretending to apologize so that he can hide the fact of them going over to mah house. This woman thinks everyone is as crooked and twisted like her.🤢

Nanu finally explodes, that Abir genuinely apologized because everyone felt bad about how he behaved that day. Uff the intolerable guts of this woman, she had actually committed the crime of calling the cops on MishKu then made Parul the scapegoat , then made Abir apologize and now acting up about his apology, disbelieving him!😡 Poor Abir, what a terrible mother to have!

Abir is clearly hurt and says alongwith his apology he would like to state that Kunal and Mishti both will find other matches but only they can decide if they are the right match for each other, not us!

Meenu realizes her mistake in judging Abir and says sorry but she should have said sorry to him, not after he left hurt and angry.

Poor Kunal stuck between a rock and a hard place, caught between warring brother and mother! Abir calls him Meenu’s defense lawyer, Kunal says he’s like the ball in a tennis match between mom and brother.

Abir tells him to choose a side, Kunal says he’s on the side of peace, Shanti, then stops Abir from cracking a joke on who’s Shanti. 😆

K says you both keep fighting, A says he was trying to end the fight and genuinely apologized but Meenu still suspected him. Kunal says Meenu feels they were trying to manipulate her. Abir’s expressions at that 😆We manipulated her? 🤣He bangs his head on his hanging cycle in exasperation

Kunal tells Abir mom was upset about us going there but you could have explained it to her calmly but you must have taunted her instead

Abir agrees to take care henceforth but in return Kunal must call Mishti to say yes to marital courtship, they both need to decide if they are to get married

Kunal says you know how I feel about marriage. Abir says he knows Kunal was betrayed in love so now he will just marry just anyone but Mishti herself doesn’t want to marry. She deserved a chance to get to know him before marriage.
Kunal takes it on his ego and repeats his mom’s words that he’s not that bad that he needs to be tested. Abir makes up instant poem about his greatness😆 and asks Kunal to give Mishti a chance to know how awesome he is. Maybe after this he might not find her fit for him. Kunal thinks now Abir doesn’t want Kunal to like her. Abir says it’s not possible you won’t like her. But Abir did pause there, was he hoping Mishnal won’t find each other acceptable and Rishta would break? Then why did he help Kunal court Mishti under false pretenses? Did he get too caught up in the game against Meenu?

Meenu overheard them and is mad at the thought of Kunal calling Mishti to agree to her condition

Oh God, just to stop Kunal from calling Mishti she tricks Nidhi into leaving Ketu’s wedding dress there and burns it with the lamp 🤢

Such a disgusting destructive woman she is! 😡

Episode 25 last part

Shaurya surely had a lot of khabris who were giving him daily reports about naman😲

Kuhu is funny with her talks about learning self defense in college, that she’s yellow (her fav color)belt and Mishti is brown belt so they can take care of themselves. BP assures her as long as mah family is there nobody can harm their princesses

Mishti tells resting BM that she has inculcated good values and strength in her to fight her own battles and speak out for herself. BM wakes up and tells Mishti that in every fight you need a partner and only a life partner can give her the safety and security that even loving parents can’t give her.

What a load of crock that is! 😵Could Abir the husband protect her from the would be rapist? From his mother’s plotting and planning? From her cruelty?

BM fears they will lose such a good Rishta because of Mishti’s request so she tries to make Mishti promise she will forget her courtship condition

BP to the rescue, he arrives and firmly declares Mishti won’t make that promise! He rebukes BM that a mother always supports her daughter! We have not taught our daughter to live with fear. Biggest disease is thinking what will people say! Try to understand what our daughter wants, don’t try to impose your will on her! BP asks Mishti if she’s willing to forget her condition, Mishti nods then he asks then why did she take so much time to promise BM?

Why was your hand shaking when swearing on her head?

BP says parents give their children wings, not a cage!

Found a parallel here, after BM lets Mishti escape from her wedding to Nannu, she tells BP we’re supposed to give Mishti wings to fly but we put her in a cage of our ehsaan

It’s wonderful how BP and BM reminded each other of their true responsibility towards Mishti when the need arose to correct each other’s parenting!

BP tells BM today Mishti did a brave thing, we must support her not tell her to back off now.

He tells Mishti she has full rights to get to know her future life partner before marrying him and we will make sure you get this right! Way to go, BP! 👏He blesses her and says he’s with her! 👍🏼

Mami is inconsolably crying that she failed to protect her daughter’s wedding dress. Abinal rush out to see why she’s crying and Parul sneaks in to steal Kunal’s phone! Meenu used Parul as her henchwoman back then. 🤢

Abir consoles Mami that she’s not a border soldier who failed to protect his country. 😆
Kunal says to get sari repaired, Abir denies as Parekhs are in sari business so they would know. Meenu comes and questions Nidhi. Wonder why Nidhi never suspected Meenu because she was the one who sent her to give tea to babuji and made Nidhi leave the sari there.

Meenu suggests Abir can get identical sari made by NGO ladies. Abir is amazed, says he thought mom was only expert at creating problems not at solving them. 😆Meenu asks if that was a taunt or compliment?

She had probably planned this ahead too that she would send Abir to get the sari and hence keep him away from Kunal too.
What a shaitani dimaag she has!😈

Varsha was being so nice to Mishti then later she became selfish again. Kuhu berates Mishti for giving everyone low BP (shouldn’t it be high BP?) she says Mishti’s courtship demand has put everyone in a fix and her ship will sink like the Titanic (this reminded me of something) 😆 ...taking all Mahs down with them.

Mishti protests that she’s right to ask for courtship but Kuhu says she should stop obsessing about right and wrong and think about the family for once. Even though Kuhu thought courtship was a great idea when Mish suggested it now she thinks it should be dropped for the sake of family’s peace of mind. Mishti is in a turmoil again.

Kuhu let slip several hints about liking Kunal here - sports car, achha Rishta, curly hair rejected, but Mishti was so preoccupied with her own turmoil she didn’t catch those subliminal hints.

Now when we revisit..the main flaw is the story and narration..the whole thing as well as tracks seems like an undercooked dish...they took a progressive concept but never imagined that the demography watching will be progressive and attentive.

All other factors are on point..

The epis are a delight to watch any time.

Mishti watches Abir being his kind philanthropic self with RJV staff. Abir spots her and smiles, she gives him water bottle to clean the haldi on his face. 😆 looks like Abir wanted to keep his Soni’s haldi on him forever.😳 He asks her she agreed for the marriage, she says everyone feels I should agree. They sit on the swing and converse. Mishti says she and Kunal don’t know anything about each other

Abir teases her Kunal doesn’t know she’s an angry chorni and violent too. She laughs and asks if Kunal is as funny as he is.

Abir says she would learn how he is if they spent more time with EO, Mish says she wanted to discuss that with him the previous day but then police fiasco happened but she talked to nanu and Kunal about this that morning and they said Meenu has to agree

KuKu discussing their siblings in the house and discover both Mishti and Abir love poetry and shayari. Matlab even KuKu have some idea that Mishti and Abir have similar personalities and KuKu are similar. But don’t opposites attract? Kuhu asks Kunal if he likes straight or curly hair? Kunal says he doesn’t notice anyone’s hair that much

Mish tells Abir Kuhu thinks her Prince Charming will come for her on a white horse. Abir asks why hadn’t that story been updated?😆 He will update it for sure riding wedding horse to airport to bring Mishti back home.

Abir jokes just imagine you’re stuck in a traffic jam and a prince comes by on his white horse and asks directions for Maheshwari house. 😆

Mishti laughs and says her life isn’t a fairy tale and she isn’t expecting a Prince Charming. She’s seen marital relationships become a burden so she wants to be sure about Kunal before giving her consent.👍🏼 She and Kunal need lots of time to understand each other’s nature. Abir asks you want marital courtship? Jugnu overheard. 😆

Meenu indirectly taunts nanu for not telling her before going to mah house. Nanu tells her to dress up and attend Ketu’s haldi as Kunal’s in laws have come. Meenu corrects nanu that they’re not in laws yet 😈

She rebukes nanu that he doesn’t need her anymore as he went without telling her but she had left her husband to come help in his business when he had requested her. Abir still taunts her for leaving his dad and she has to live with the pain. What a load of lies! 😡Meenu came herself to help nanu but later Mehul also was involved in Nanu’s business otherwise how did he commit fraud?🤪 Writers were all mixed up about what twist they would give for Abir’s dad’s absence. Meenu blames nanu for ending her marriage! That she left her husband to help her father but now she has neither mayka nor sasural . Cunning Meenu giving nanu the guilt trip😈

kuku's conversation was nice too. I liked how she asked him if he liked straight hair or curly and he says he doesn't notice them much 👍🏼 tbh he was pretty much sorted guy and if meenu didnt interfere much, he would have known what's best for him.

About meenu's story that she left her husband to help nanu in their home business had me too. But yeah, maybe thats how writers wanted to develop it initially? that she indeed sacrificed her married life for the sake of her father? maybe. I dont know, she confuses me.

Jugnu tells mami and Parul that Mishti wants to take Kunal to court. Mami demands Mahs to tell what’s this about? Mami panicking that all this court stuff will jeopardize Ketu’s wedding. Abir tries to calm down mami who yells to Benba to come down. Meenu finally deigns to come down and the matter is revealed to be Jugnu misunderstanding Abir Mishti conversation. Bade Papa tells Meenu tells his daughter has requested marital courtship as their family gives equal importance to the girl’s consent. 👍🏼

Mamu finds google meaning prem alap, Mami asks vilaap? 😆Nice play on words

Meenu rebukes mami when God was distributing brain where were you? Mami says i was somewhere close by. 😆

Nanu tries to explain to Meenu she rebukes him but he reminds her he’s the most senior member of the family. Abir tells Kunal look at our nanu you thought he was supporting cast but he’s Amitabh Bachchan. 😎

Nanu says he already heard Mishti’s request and has no problems. Meenu tries to hint they tried to hide it from her and Nidhi revealed it. Abir says you were busy so they never got a chance to tell you.

Meenu turns tough and asks Mahs so your daughter wants to test my son before marrying him? Is my son a car in a showroom that your daughter wants to test drive? That was such a nasty thing to say! 🤢 She repeated Abir’s earlier words, is my son a store object?

BM explained it well that traditions should change with time or else they become chains. my daughter wants to learn more about your son and he about her, there’s wrong about that. This is not our times, we should move ahead with the times

Kuhu applauds BM for her modern thinking, Abir agrees and says BM gave a great speech. Meenu agrees BM expressed well what she thinks. She asked Parul to bring water and tells Mishti to drink the water.

Mish sips and spits it out as it has salt. Meenu says children know it’s water but only elders can say it has salt. What a dumb analogy!🤪

Meenu says children want freedom and independence but elders should wield control over that freedom. At crucial times someone should guide them. Children don’t know but they need elders guidance and help. BM agreed and was going to continue but the Parekhs arrived right then and Varsha quickly managed the situation by saying Meenu was waiting for them.

Nanu Shaurya and BP sitting inside, shaurya said it didn’t go as we expected. Nanu’s hands are shaking holding the cup. Poor Nanu, bullied by his own daughter.

Kunal takes Abir to the room and says see what happened, maheshwaris get into trouble everytime because of us, Abir is thrilled at Kunal’s concern. Kunal thinks his mother wants this Rishta but wants everything according to her wishes. Abir says mother wants to control the weather and monsoon and rainbows. There’s no limit to her wish to control.

Kunal shuts up Abir and says nanu ate god knows what chyavanprash and agreed to Mahs request. 😆Kunal tells Abir not to say anything and he will handle mom

Downstairs Mrs Parekh blesses Ketu and says now Ketu is their bahu and Mishti is RJV’s. Meenu hesitates then says she feels there should not be any conditions attached to forming new relations. They will form Rishta without conditions and fulfill them too.
Mahs are upset, Mrs Parekh asks when is wedding date fixed? Abir tells her she will be informed first. Abir plays a trick giving a gift to Mrs Parekh on the condition that she will let Mahs participate as RJV family guests. Mrs Parekh disagrees saying Mahs are her friends, she calls BM to help gift the wedding sari to Ketu. Meenu finally puts haldi on Ketu and Mrs Parekh and BM blessed Ketu and gave her the wedding sari.

Kuhu whispered to Mishti isn’t your saas too dangerous? Mishti shushed her that someone will hear. Abir behind them says he heard and offers water saying he won’t mix salt like his mom to give lectures. 😆Kuhu taunts Abir about his age and drinks the water. Mishti says she’s apprehensive, Abir says he is too.

Jugnu was so annoying. This is the first time probably when i felt angry at him. Kuch bhi bol diya woh bhi kisi ke bhi samne. at least he could have asked abir.

Yeah got demoted from Amitabh bachhan to nirupa roy pretty soon He actually was the eldest and his word should have been final. but well.

The scene showing nanu's hands shaking while holding the cup was so sad. meenu was such a pathetic daughter. his daughter in law nidhi was much better than her in that way.

And what was meenu's logic saying elders should guide and help their children. of course they will, but marital courtship didnt mean eloping. did she not get that? 🤔

little mishbir scene at the end was like breeze of air ⭐️

I think he was either too distracted with what was happening or he just wanted it to stay 😳

Meenu left Mehul in Rajgarh and came to Rajkot to take over reins of RJV business. Later Mehul also must have joined her or just running RJV factory in Rajgarh from where he stole a large amount of money. He also married Parul while Meenu was away. Wonder how Abir got to spend so much time with his Baba if they were living separately 😕

Kunal was quite a sensible guy except he was totally Meenu’s puppet. See how she sent Abir away to get new wedding sari and sent Kunal to work right away.
