When you mentioned dining table it clicked me to check the sybolism of it and here what google says on it.
The dining table has always been a symbol of many things: the place where we nourish ourselves, where we come together, celebrate important milestones, share experiences, and create new understandings.
I now think they brought this dining room scene for that. To show that they norish themselves as well as they have come together to celebrate important milestones and it's a celebration for Ani, Mini and Baumik.
Ani is celebrating the victory of exposing Mini beforehand and Mini and Baumik celebrating the victory of their own desires which is Mini to get married to Ani and settling down in London. It's final dining I think, kind of last supper.
Create new understandings...
Ani's actions and hints clearly showed his care for Kaka and Bon in the same dining table and hinted out what he is going to do.
