Even today marriages with 10 or even upto 15 year old difference happen and for that era, Aniruddh and Bondita's age difference is just perfect. Even if she was 8, it was and now as she is 11, its just perfect, even for this era. What makes it awkward at times for Ani and some viewers is that, he married her when she was a kid. If after a decade when Bondita is 20 and Aniruddh is 28, if they met, neither Aniruddh not the viewers would have felt weird.

Now as Aniruddh literally will nurture her and see her growing up, loving her in another way (which he will surely fall in) will make him feel a bit guilty in the future but on a general level, their age difference is just perfect for that era, and is very much acceptable even today and is deemed as perfect in Indian Society.

IKR but why do they forget that this show is based on Pre Independence Era, while Child Marriage was prevalent all over the country and not just Bengal? Ajeeb log hai. Bus bash Karna Hai, Bina Show Dekhe.

but I think we are gonna see some changes in her in a positive way that would make her determined, bold and strong to have her own opinion because I think all bad things and hardships make us stronger and I think aniruddh has realised about bon that she is not someone whom he can shout upon and ignore or distrust like he did in fm track where earlier he used to think mini has all these qualities (I don't know from where ) , he realised that bon is a fighter not a notorious kid , she is selfless , witty and someone who needs care and assurance and he is changing himself for her
