I'm happy that Trump is out, but then the Biden-Harris combo will be worrying for India. Especially Harris, she'll be a pain in the arse.

It's a relief that American progressives outvoted the conservatives. India should follow suit.❤️

Curious what you mean? Her stance on Kashmir/CAA? I remember reading about compensatory bias, I wonder if it’ll actually be a thing with her.

Side note - Trump’s an absolute buffoon, yes. But he did a few right things. I.e. cancelling $300m military aid to Pakistan over their terror record. I’m willing to bet the Dems take a much more lenient stance.🙄

Very much, yes. Harris' comments were something along the lines of, "The people of Kashmir are not alone. If necessary we will intervene". Like, the raw f**king nerve!

And yes, Dems anyways have a record of being overly pally with Pakistan. To make things worse, Biden once played a key role in increasing aid to Pakistan when he was earlier a part of the administration.

India deserves to get its ass whooped for its atrocities in Kashmir and against muslims in India.

Congratulations everyone!

Congrats Biden! I’m sure there’s many out there breathing a collective sigh of relief after 4yrs of Trump. I finished watching Borat last night and the obscene jokes aside, my honest observation is that America is such a tale of two cities. The population could not be more divided and it’s actually quite worrying. It took a global pandemic to stop Trump from getting a guaranteed second term.

Memes aside, I think Biden does look somewhat frail and I genuinely worry he may not last the full term. For now however, enjoy the sense of normalcy while it lasts!

Haha I'd like to believe that Borat's new movie exposing Rudy Giuliani knocked some sense into people.

Like Pakistan deserves to get its ass whooped for atrocities against non-Muslims and Baluchis? Or China against Uighurs? And nope, no US president has the nerve to come anywhere close to 'whooping' India, it needs us badly to contain China, stabilize South Asia and have the market for its goods.

Also, I'd say that a certain group of people need to get their asses whooped after cutting people's throats over cartoons, but I'll refrain.

Lol let them try. Modi is no newbie. No matter what people think about him...but the things he's gotten done in so many years has made me a much more patriotic person. I finally feel proud about my heritage and nationality. India finally feels home. Previously it felt identifying by my religion (remember what it was like being a Hindu majority pehle...all the secularity ka bhaashan) was wrong, only others needed protection n not us...well not any more.

If Biden-Harris have seen India's relations specially with UK and Israel they know they can't dare lay a finger, forget about intervening.
